Marlin Crawler Low Range Gears Group Buy

40 would be a very solid group buy number to present to Marlin or Marks :hmm:

This # already actually bests the group buy i did with Justdiffs for the Nitro 4.88/5.29......

One other interesting fact: while there is an initial 10-15% list loss.......this is typically made up for by an equal 10-15% of people who are "late to the game" or "were on vacation" and end up sneaking in during the 3-4 days it ends up taking to sort out the group buy specifics with the vendor. So hitting 40 would be a tough pill for one or two vendors to turn down and swallow.

I think you are up to 37, not 36...unless you are not counting dr.doboro

I'm already on the list for this group buy. Very sad to hear I missed a group buy in 5.29's tho. Either way thanks @bugsnbikes for organizing this.

You can always buy the set of 5.29's I have sitting in my garage!

@CruiseOrlando why do you have another set of 5.29's and are they for locked axels ?

I can't say if @CruiseOrlando has the gears or not, but I can tell you that it doesn't matter if your axles are locked or not - the gears are the same either way.:)

Yeah, I still have them but the issue isn't the gears, it's the setup kit that is different if you have an elocker.

SO WHAT BRAND ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT BUYING FOR $600???

Marlin Gears. Japanese sourced. Most likely a Toyota partner or subsidiary in the Toy supply chain which is often supplied with machinery- engineering- and dev. processes handed down from Toyota.

So fairly Oem quality,
