Rob I haven’t been able to get mine to flex past 9.5-10”
Worn out bushings usually allow more flex.
Grinding the tops of the control arm helps.
Not sure if you did that but it doesn’t look like in the pictures.

I think I may grind on the arms a little and install new bushings in another set of arms that I have laying around. and try them. These bushings are not torn, or at least were not when I installed them, the rubber was just really hard. I am more happy about the comfy ride over flex at this point!:)

The ride is MEH :flush:

Kidding, kidding, kidding.

It is night and day from mine, as it should be.

Seriously though. It rocked. and I bet will be even better when he links the rear.

I poked around this a little this weekend, nice job Rob!

I replaced the fibreglass part of the roof. Some dirty animal cut in a stupid sunroof.
My gutter was fine. No appreciable rust.

If I were to do it again today, I wouldn't rivet the gutter in. I'd just glue it down and not deal with the liability

After some time off I was able to work on this some more. I got all the holes marked and drilled. Then welded some weld nuts to it. I have some finish work and welding the bottom, then I will join the front and back and fiberglass to it.

I hope to have this done by SAS in August.

I used a rivet setting tool for my air hammer I bought off Amazon. That and a body dolly made quick work setting the rivets. I also love my Matco drills that keep eating through metal.

I had to repair a crack in the fiberglass. Two sheets of glass and it should be good.

I used my new HF material remover to get off the foam and glue residue from the inside
