And the pics every might be waiting for are not as dramatic as I hoped. This is with a 250lb spring. Final springs should be 180 lbs I think. Either way I hope the front flexes more. The rear Pro Comp springs flex good.

In a dual rate setup your front springs will be much softer and hopefully get a lot more movement out of the front. Do you have the top springs?

It looks like the front is forcing the rear to do all the work. In those photos, is the driver rear about to come off of the ground? Is the rear bump stopped?

Love the stance. Will be bitchin when you get the front spring rates sorted to balance with the rear.

I just have a lower spring on to set ride height. Hopefully the new springs will ship next week.
They will be dual rate. Working with my shock guy who did my race car. Alltech.

Yes the rear is about to lift.

I think it will be a good height. I plan to 4 link the reat with coils.

Wanye is good people, he did a ride along tune for me in my Sand Car a number of years ago.

Did you get to drive it?

I’m planning the front radius arms, coils, and rear leafs left alone for now.

I’d like to Hope that it drives 200% better.
Just in and out the garage. Still some things to tidy up and get the right springs on it.

So my springs showed up today. I took the shocks off, but not before I welded in some resevoir mounts to the fenders and then the limit strap tabs. The springs are used, but they would be after the first trip out so it is ok.

I heated my new pitman arm cherry red and twisted it about 5-10 deg to reduce tie rod binding at full droop. I was too busy with the torch and then buried it in sand to cool over night. I will dig it out and get some pics tomorrow and get some paint on it.

These are some of the first cars I built. I worked construction at 14 and bought all these after working my butt off. Next summer bought a Jeep, and swore off the radio controlled cars. Wished I had saved the money and put it towards a better vehicle. I have not bought one sense.
