btw, anyone have a tip on how to pull the trim under the headlights? I'd hate to snap it in half again![]()
Any pics of light output on the quad set up?
Just ordered 5 sets of these. Thanks for the warning that this was a one and done. For all those who purchased the brackets I really appreciate the contribution and for all those considering whether they should do this or not I can honestly tell you the run is probably one and done because I have to cut at least 100 to keep the price down so if you're even considering improving your lights based on what you see here.. let me know I have about 30 pairs left.
Maybe there was some confusion on my part. I wanted 3 sets for the D2S 4.0's and then 2 sets for the Mini H1's... I thought they all shared the same brackets?Just ordered 5 sets of these. Thanks for the warning that this was a one and done.
How does the D2S compare to the Mini H1? Trying to decide if it's worth the trouble of cutting the shroud. Also did you find a good looking Halo for D2S (is that what the part that covers the dremeled shroud is called)?
Apologies if this has already been clarified - but does this bracket also work for the high beam bulbs? As in, we would need to buy two (2) sets in order to replace low beam and high beam?
Thanks
The brackets are only for the low beam bulb, which is already a projector-style setup. The high beam bulb is a traditional bulb and reflector setup and would require a traditional retrofit. I think the process is covered midway through this thread.Apologies if this has already been clarified - but does this bracket also work for the high beam bulbs?
