Repowdercoated. Should have just done this the first time. One of these days I will learn there are no shortcuts.

Some tech.

We replaced the spark plugs with NGK Iridium's that are 2 steps colder than the stock plugs. Should help with any detonation issues as the boost is raised.

Replaced all 7 rubber brake lines with the OEM longer lines, and the LSPV, went well, no issue. Will have to wait to test how the bleeding job went after it is running.

Found right front wheel bearing is loose, will have to pull it apart soon and check it out. Hopefully I can snug it up and run it for FJ Summit, and than do the front end rebuild when I get back.

While the intake manifold was pulled we tapped the PCV valve input since we will be running a fabricated catch can, and will be using that for the boost pressure sensor.

Also re-did the rear heater delete as well as insulated the wiring harness, the stock insulation was still in good shape but more is better.

Absolutely Lou!! Not sure if they will get it started tomorrow, Baktash was supposed to go on a family vacation, but he cancelled it. I told him he needs to go and the truck can definitely wait. I mean that is great customer service and he is going out of his way to finish it tomorrow, but it is just a truck and family comes first! But yes I am excited and it will be done early next week at the latest I am sure. The good vids won't be until we get the tuning started, but I will try and get some video for sure.

You've got to be pretty excited.... Will it start tomorrow? Video and pic's please:)

Lou

Cool build Ryan. Waiting...

I'll just sit here an echo all previous statements about how thorough this build is and all with such amazing attention to detail! Awesome truck, love the LineX, can't wait to see the truck running with the new snail.

Ha! Look who's talking, it's going to be done right before I sell it. Lol

Bahahaha. Why I never finish. Still have air bumps to mount on FJC after two years, yet she cowers low in the driveway, due to the massive amount of competition that surrounds. Hahahaha.

Another "Hi, I'm Pot" moment brought to you by OCDism, coupled with borderline addiction.

Forward steps, backwards steps, forwards steps, backwards steps. General progress is always forward but I open my mouth with a "great idea" and it necessitates undoing a lot that the guys have already done. I really appreciate their patience with me, hell if I had a shop I would have kicked me out. Ha.

Kind of hard to tell in the pics but the intake tube is a full 4", about twice the area of the stock accordion intake.

Nope have all of those things. Assembly is stopped waiting for a 9" curved blade Spal pusher fan. For the heat exchanger. The exchanger I bought came with a fan but didn't specify if it was push or pull, I gambled and lost. Lol.
