Do you have any option for terminal covers for the original slee big battery kit? They were the ones used before they offered the billet terminal option. View attachment 4060181
Unfortunately I do not - but! If you're interested, take a photo of each terminal looking STRAIGHT down with a ruler in the frame as well (one photo for positive, one for negative). That'll let me scale the photo in my CAD software and trace it. I'd also need to know how 'thick' the terminals are.

I got my LX Wedgie before Christmas, right in the middle of moving. I just got it installed today.

This this is solid. I've tried it with my iPhone and my Samsung Galaxy and neither of them vibrate during normal traffic.

Pay no attention to the garbage in the passenger's floorboard or the mess of wires from the chargers I've been using.

I need to get the MagSafe charger to go in the X-Grip and figure out how to maneuver the RAM mount so I can get to the touchscreen for climate control (all I use if for), but this is a great solution for an out of the way mount.

I get my dash vent back as well!

That’s really cool. I have a similar product that I bought from Owl Expedition years back. Actually never installed it yet. It’s a metal bracket but I believe you need to remove the tape deck to install it. This solution looks much easier to install.

Do you think this will scratch the surface of the tape deck? It looks like it’s very flush against the surface. My interior looks mint, trying to avoid mods that will leave a trace behind if possible.

It's definitely touching the face of the tape deck - there shouldn't be any long-term wear because there's no movement between the two, but, I imagine if you very cleanly lined the backside of the 'flange' on the Wedgie that sits against the trim it'd further mitigate any potential rubbing.

I saw the OWL Expedition mount and thought about it, but I don't expectto remove the radio on this one. It could happen, but it's so low on my priority list that the Wedgie was a much better solution.

I may see about using this in conjunction with some SmallRig components to change the mounting position as well as add a 2nd device.

For anyone that bought the mirror mount for the wolfbox 900 do you pull off the four backing pieces then break out the mirror tabs? I can’t find any instructions and am not getting a response over PMs and I didn’t want to start gorilla-ing things. if that is the case does the adapter stay secure in the mirror without anything else?

@Dparo Sorry - I was out with the
grandparents & toddler doing Christmas light viewing when your message came in at 6pm last night.

You remove those sticky tabs, take out the screws that they reveal, remove the original strap hangers, place my adaptor bracket on it, then reinstall the 4 screws you pulled off prior. Shouldn't need to force anything.

Here's a quick design I did for a customer - door pocket organizer & trashcan for the front door pockets!

The organizer has a 90mm wide compartment for phones, and 2x 42mm wide compartment for knives/flashlights/multitools/etc. To avoid things getting buried forever in it, the side compartments have configurable depths. The entire thing hooks over the side & the mounts contour very nicely to the door panel trim.

The trashcan of course can be used for other things, but that was it's original intent. Seems like someone has already put some trash in it...

I’m wiring up my LRA aux tank and the 20mm circular switch to activate the pump is just about the same width as the tall blanks in the button group next to the steering column.

I’m probably just gonna drill a hole in the blank switch and hope that there’s enough plastic around the sides of the hole to keep some structural integrity. But I definitely would have bought a 3D printed plate that fits the switch, if it existed!

The switch is an Apexus PG210. Basically just a 20mm cylinder with some tabs.

Mine fit after the trim and did work good.
But would have 100% bought something to drop in there and make it quick.

Once again I have to shoutout @LJE
Simple well engineered solutions to modernize our rigs. Recently I installed a rear swing out from TrailTailor which made the already close to useless camera completely unusable. My Apple CarPlay tablet came with a rear view camera. Both the tablet and camera are installed with the help of @LJE components.

Thanks for the shoutout & photos -that carplay tablet looks sharp there!

I’m interested. Make some for a 80 series too if possible.

Count me in for a set of the 2nd row mounts, that's a perfect location for a big flashlight I have that has a type-C charger and I have a charging station on the driver's side right next to it.

Count me in for a single second row!
Hey guys! (and everyone else) - the Modular Seatbelt replacement Panels are now available! Check them out over here: 100 Series Modular Seat Belt Replacement Panel - https://theartisangarage.com/products/100-series-modular-seat-belt-replacement-panel

I'm quite happy with how these turned out - I'm really digging the hybrid 3D print + CNC cut steel approach, and it's definitely something that I want to incorporate into even more designs in the future... especially considering I have a 1.5KW fiber laser cutter on the way!

Will the “wedgie” in design for 98-02 LC be compatible with cassette deck for this JBL head unit ?

I thought only the LX's of that era had the navigation?!

If you have a pair of calipers handy, you could grab the measurements I posted pictures of a page or two ago & I'll check to see if they match up with the others!

Great!

If you could grab height/width of the cassette deck (both at the 'outside' of the trim and the inside of the trim right before it opens to the inside) would be great.
Also, the "depth" of the trim.

Please grab the height measurements from the left side, which should be the more narrow side (measurements labeled B and E - I drew E on the "wide" side, but please use the narrow side).

Finally got around to this, just to be clear is F between the buttons or the widest part of the opening?

F- 80.5mm if between buttons, 71.6mm if widest part of opening.
B- 15.36mm
A- 65.8mm(whats the deference between A and C?)

Let me know if you need something else.

Hats off to Alex at Lumberjack. I lost one of my front center cap, sent him one of the original center caps and he generated a new cap that was tall enough to clear the hub flanges. Also ordered the overhead 8 gang auxbeam panel mount and that print fit like a glove.

Thank you for the quick turnaround as well.
