Count me in for a set of the 2nd row mounts, that's a perfect location for a big flashlight I have that has a type-C charger and I have a charging station on the driver's side right next to it.

These are accessory mount panels that replace the 2nd & 3rd row seat belt mounting brackets! Like some of my other recent designs, this one combines the best that 3D printing & plasma cutting has to offer.
For both mount panels, the upper brackets reuse the big honkin' bolts used to secure the upper seat belt mounts into place. The lower brackets slip in between the gap for the upper & lower trim panels, and "hook" onto the bottom of the upper trim panel. As you tighten down the lower mounting bolts you pull up on this brackets, which locks the entire thing into place and prevents movement. It's really secure!

I think pricing will be $90/one, $170 for two, and $330 for all four. That includes the brackets printed in carbon fiber ASA, plasma cut steel panels (raw/bare), and all stainless steel hardware.
Interested in some? Please leave a comment below or shoot me a message - trying to figure out how many sets of brackets to ship to @MongooseGA to get listed over on The Artisan Garage!
Do I need to design a mount for an old-school D-cellI'm interested in seeing how this looks when you do it. I also like to keep a big type-C charged flashlight in the truck, and my map pockets are full.
This is such a great accessory, I'm excited to get them on the site!
Any updates on the 2003+ model years?
I'll be a guinea pig!Side note: I think this new LC version will work for the navigation-equipped 98-02 LX470. If you've got one of those and are interested in test fitting a Wedgie, let me know!
Finally! I have been stalking this thread waiting for this post! Ordered the wedgie and a CDL guard for my 07 LC.IT'S FINALLY DONE! 03-07 Landcruiser 'The Wedgie™' phone mount design has finally been tuned in & validated. It's now available as an option to order here:

Waiting on actual Landcruiser photos tomorrow, but the exterior of The Wedgie™ LC edition looks exactly the same as the LX - it's just the inside geometry that had to get tuned in over 10 different iterations (I've spent so much shipping these things around the country, hahah).

The best phone mount out there IMO!
Not a fan of the RAM mount? Let me know what you'd like to see the The Wedgie™ mount fit! The exterior is easily adaptable to any phone mount base.

The RAM mount (at least, the phone mount linked in the description) comes with the hardware! Finally! I have been stalking this thread waiting for this post! Ordered the wedgie and a CDL guard for my 07 LC.
Question - Does the wedgie and/or the ram mount come with the hardware to mount the RAM to the wedgie? If not could you provide specs for the hardware I will need to do so?
Thanks for the excellent picture! And condolences for your tire.Nice pic of my recently installed Center Console Lid Organizer Rack, it holds my staun deflators, Icon wheel lug nut socket, socket that fits on the icon, slime tire gauge, flashlight and allen key for wheel center caps. It works very well, just a bit heavy with this metal stuff, if it slams it can dislodge things. The organizer was really well constructed though and installation was as easy as pushing the pins out of the old cupholder insert. Now this stuff doesn't roll around and create a chaotic mess to dig through
I blew my tire like the next day in Azusa canyon and it was really nice to pull them out of this thing and put them back so they didn't get lose, i hadn't expected to need to use them so soon!

I actually had someone else reach out today about this! Do you happen to have a set of calipers to measure with?Wondering how or if the wedgie would work on a gx470… I’ve got the owl expo mount in my lx but would like to get a mount for the wife’s gx.
I do indeed, she just left for work though.I actually had someone else reach out today about this! Do you happen to have a set of calipers to measure with?

Hahahaha! If it was only my ideas that I created, it'd get boring fast. I love helping bring other people's ideas to life and solve problems.I love how responsive LJE is to customer requests, ideas, and feedback! This is one of the aspects of the site that makes it so amazing and popular.
What are your thoughts on developing a TEQ emblem insert for my Garage Alpha grille . . .
and maybe TEQ center caps for my factory wheels . . .
and, and, and . . . what I really want to know is if you can make a headlight bulb seal for the Sylvania LED low beam bulbs since I'm too cheap to upgrade past that right now:

Once we get moved into the new house (this weekend) and get things organized, I have a whole bunch of stuff I want to order from y'all.
Of course, I *have* to do the brakes first!

I have a 2001 LX - I wondered about those retrofit caps. Dimensionally, I think they come close, just wonder about sealing everything up - the OEM caps have an o-ring.Hahahaha! TEQ insert for the grille is probably pretty easy to do. I'm actually kicking around making my own grille, but that's down the road...
Center caps for factory wheels are probably a little out of the question - I just think they'd be too expensive for me to make for them to be attractive to folks, unfortunately.
Regarding headlights - Do you have an LC or and LX? If you're fancy like me with an LX, I definitely think I can make something for you based off of this design: LX470 Projector Retrofit Backside Cap - https://theartisangarage.com/products/lx470-projector-retrofit-backside-cap
