I’ve found several places to order them on eBay out of Australia, but would much rather acquire from a mudder here in the states.
I emailed cruiser outfitters.... maybe I’ll hear back from them Monday.
Thanks

We'll get back to you on Monday. I did see your inquiry this afternoon, unfortunately we offer the kits we offer and only the kits we offer, in other words we don't have a kit that will accommodate your existing cv axles. :D

AISIN simply doesn't have a hub offering that will allow such use. Alternative is the AVM hubs, the dislike of those is what started is dowm this kit direction a few years back, fwiw. Our kits offerings are outlined on our website and here on Mud: LC100/LX470 Part-Time Conversion Discussion

Thanks. I’m definitely going the “part time” route. I guess now I must decide how bad I want the Aisin hubs! I’ve certainly loved them on the couple of 60s I’ve owned.
Editing this post to add that I can’t afford to go the Aisin route. I just can’t afford the 1300 on top of already buying/installing OEM cv axles last month.
Where is the best place to order a part time conversion from? I’m having trouble finding a US distributor. I don’t mind buying in Australia but Marks has a 2-3 week shipping delay and many others won’t ship to the US.
Thanks for any info you any info you may have.

Unfortunately you didn't see our offering before you bought new CV axles. Many need new CV axles anyway thus it makes the part time kit offerings far more palatable in fact right in line with most other part-time kits and you get the coveted AISIN hubs. I don't know who is bringing in AVM hubs as of late, we offer the spool and installed bearing outside of the kit as well.

Bump :D

We excited to post this picture. Sure, it's an AISIN hub bolted functioning on a part-time 100 Series right? While we had an early kit offering that included full non-US OE replacement CV's to accomplish the install, this install is using factory US spec IFS CV's so it's much easier to install and at a significantly lower cost. More soon as we assembly kits :D

Subscribed...I need some part time in my life!

Good to hear you're still working on this

It's really a rather simple install. The Aussie you tube is great and Phil's instructions on his install was really helpful. Take your time and be methodical. I did the install in my garage on the floor.
I absolutely love PT on my 2000 LC. Gonna like it more when I can install Aisin hubs! I've not had a problem with the AVMs, but the Aisins are a lot stronger, more proven hubs.

I’d need you guys to do the install. I’m not emotionally capable of opening the transfer case.

Im sure Cruiser Outfitters will do a great job. Here is my install for those interested in DIY.

It's taken a back seat a few times with other projects and waiting on manufactures but we finally have all of the parts sans a gasket and some bolts we have en route.

No problem, we've done many. We can do 3:1 low range gears and/or 10% high range gears at the same time too!

Im ready to see the 2WD burnouts / Donuts!

To be truly effective you need to keep light pressure on the brake otherwise you get ghetto posi or better know as Atrac.
