my snorkle came with vinyl/plastic inserts that expand. Seems plenty sturdy to me.

If its this style, then yes they will work and a great option.

Toyota supplies rivets with the OEM snorkel. I didn't use them, but it's not a big deal if someone did. The worst thing that could happen is having to remove the bracket and a couple tiny pieces of aluminium end up inside the body.

It's the water intrusion that worries me. I'm not sure what the bracket looks like. Mine for the 100 was not this way.

RE: Snorkel A-pillar mounting

McMaster Carr has closed-end rivetnuts that have a neoprene seal. I used these along with a dab of urethane sealant on each hole before installing. They also sell the rivetnut install tool. IIRC, I used the 10/32 variety. Well worth it to ensure a nice tight install.

I'm sure everyone likes the clear blinkers and running lights.

Thinking about putting a group buy together for the turn signals. Anyone interested in them?

I think they make the truck look much newer.

I will be interested if the quality is like OEM.

No quality is as OE $80 vs $300

I used a small electric driver to I stall the DEPO markers in the pic and cracked the DS one as the screw holes are at an angle and stress the lens and DEPO are known for their better than average quality.

I have factory clear corners, would prefer orange at the moment. It's definitely a matter of personal opinion.

Once I verify quality on a clear set I have coming, you're welcome to my set. Just pay for shipping.

Again, on a tight budget. $13 rolls of Peen N Stick from Lowe's. 2 rolls does both door skins, 4 of you were doing the panels.

I did my 100 years ago with NO smell at a great savings and I went nuts.

The brackets that hold the dash speakers fit into the doors perfectly. Ill tear the panel apart and drill some holes in boards and recover.

Are you going to create a baffle for the speakers? if you don't separate the front and back sound waves. They'll cancel each other out.

You're killing me Adam.

I think I can order the foam ones from Amazon.

Rear quarter areas are done, my girl is kicking ass with the Peel n Stick. She knocked it out in 3 hours
