I found this thread because I am wanting a front bumper for my new to me LX 470. I would be interested in a group buy. I am also likely to have already purchased something before something can be arranged.

Yeah, ironic thing is TJM has since reissued the T-17 stateside. We can get this same bumper from them; however, Kavik’s is aluminum and a beautifully welded piece of art. Plus he’s a part of the community and a family guy and I’d rather support him. And I like the bull bar.

I dunno, the Kavik bumper seems smaller overall which is why I liked it in the first place.

Up to around 18 people so far it seems. Hopefully this can get relayed to Kavik in some way. Whether or not he has the time or desire to do it is entirely up to him.

Count me in also. This has been on my radar since page 1 but was waiting for the right time for me.

With that said, it sort of seems like a group buy approaching 20+ may not be in the cards for a guy who's probably busy with lots of cool projects/priorities in life. Hope he's doing well. I assume so.

No doubt that Kavik makes a very nice bumper, based on the look of the original TJM T17 (at the time out of production).

Am I the only one that finds it a little odd, that a thread that is brought back to life, by saying "He hasn't been responsive to my emails", and responded to with something along the lines of "This is/was a side job for him, and life/work has gotten in the way." has evolved into a 20+ person unofficial group buy thread, with no participation from Kavik?
