I have a Kavik bumper w/ bullbar on my LC and the quality is top notch. It did take about 4 months longer than quoted to receive, but I think that's not terribly uncommon for a custom built product like this. I never felt like I was going to be ripped off or anything. Hope he's able to work things.

I'm thinking I might get a Dissent rear bumper and might want the front to match. If anyone is interested in my Kavik, let me know. I wouldn't ship it, so you would need to pick up in CA.
How much are you asking for it?

I'm 50-50 to a trip to Los Angeles in March.

@nutritiouspig I just picked up a dissent Aluminum rear bumper. Have not put it together yet but I think it will be a good match to the Kavik front bumper that I have with the bull bar on my LC.

Man I wonder what happened. This was my favorite bumper design so far. Clean and compact, and in my price range.
Right! same here. Curious to see what Jason's latest modifications to the 100 series bumpers are too.

@nutritiouspig could you post a picture of it? i might be interested

The website still up... are they still selling them?
Believe they are more of a "custom order" type purchase than something you would purchase off the shelf, mass produced, like an ARB or Ironman bumper. There are small businesses, usually only a guy or two each, that does this on the side or part time with a regular 9-5 job (similar to Dissent or Trail Tailor, except I believe both of those have gone full-time now, at least Jason at TT has).

We can start an unofficial group buy to see if they are interested.

Sounds good. I’m in.

I love his product and would love to support him. Hopefully everything is alright with him and perhaps he’ll return to ‘Mud? If a group buy and a commitment for a number of sales allows him to return to production then I’m all for it.

Paging @LandCruiserPhil, are you in touch with @Kavik? Any word from him?

He is currently deep in other stuff and well. This was a side business for him at the time.

Thanks for the update Phil.

I get that and I think it’s the case with a lot of the vendors here. Hobby draws a lot of great people with tons of talent to create products for all the rest of us. It’s a small community though, not a guaranteed ton of volume, and often the work has to be squeezed in on the side.

Brian, I imagine you’ll read this sooner or later. If you find some time to produce more front bumpers, please let us know. We’d love to support you to do it. If it’ll take a certain number of orders to make it happen, maybe we’ll be able to pull them together. Thanks a lot, I wish you all the best!

Everyone else, if you think you want a @Kavik front bumper, say it here. You never know what can happen with a little enthusiasm and commitment!

I am definitely interested if Brian decides to do a run. I had emailed him about a year ago... wish I would have committed then.
