I agree about hiking.That clearing about did me in. :)
Speaking of hiking......It's a hump from across the road
where the parking is located. Please feel free to drive in
to the house to unload before parking on Saturday.
I hear the Friday night pickin' down the hill is going to

OK gang, bearer of bad news here. I just got a call tonight and my cousin is getting married that saturday. Spur of the moment kinda deal messin' up my plans. :rolleyes: Scratch Glynnis and I from the list.

Sounds familiar. I just got back Sunday from St. Augustine for one of my buds gettin' married. Seafood was good! :D Ahhh.... tis the season.
 
Friday night head count

Could we get a rough head count for Friday?
Any menu suggestions for Friday night?
Fa- heat- tas (sp) hehe...were mighty good at GSMTR
this year. We have chicken for the grill.
Suggestions? Corn on the cob? We aim to please.

Depending on when I get up to my place, I should be there for Friday evening. Definately will be there for Saturday.

David it looks like I will be heading up to your place between 3-5. I'll be bringing 3 smokers of assorted sizes and everything to cook them with. The butts will probably go on around midnight and be ready around 2-3pm on Sat. That gives me some error time. I'll be loaded down in the cruiser. May have to make a few trips to the store to get everything I will forget. I will brine the butts thursday night. we will inject and rubb them friday afternoon.

JP has our canopy and I've heard it is in rough shape from being blown off the mountain. Maybe we can piece it back together with some duct tape. I'll bring my sleeping bag and as many chairs as possible.


I'm thinking I'll buy some ribs and sausage to smoke friday night. MMMMMM. For the folks who show up friday night to help smoke and drink. My treat. Maybe we can get JP to make some famous Rotel dip. I'll be going to BJ's wholesale Thursday and buy all the utinsels and other stuff I posted in the other thread about money.
