Party time

Any news on a starting time?

Sorry I've been slack on this thread.
I've been slinging 21 gallons of paint around for the last
few days. :grinpimp:
Re-screening the porch and trim out tomorrow. We are flat out beat.
I dang near had a heat stroke today.
Marshall, what time do you think will be best?
I'm good for anytime. :bounce:
Later may help the out of towners.
Eating time is Marshall's call. We'll be here all day. Come when the
mood strikes ya. Stay till you're sober again. :smokin:
I suspect Marshall and I will start the party sometime on Friday. :grinpimp:

I didn't specify before David but I'll most likely have a guest with me if that's OK.

Cool. Actually angling for a well behaved DD so that I can party hardy... ;)

After going through that license check / road block on the way to Aunt Sue's for the club breakfast a few weeks ago, it was a good reminder that drinking and driving is a bad idea, even way out in God's country. :D

I was hoping for an first meal at lunch so that I could get some of Marshals good bbq because I have to be back in clemson to go to the wedding at 4 and I would hate to miss out on it. Damn people wanting to show their love for one another.

LOL...you'll have to take that up with Marshall. We'll be here bright and early.
In residence. :)

As far as I know Cheryl and I will be there. Thanks David and Lynn.
Hey David. Could you send me some directions to your place. It's been a while.

I'll be camping at Devils Fork that weekend. Should be able to make it over for a little BBQ. Put me down for 2. :D :bounce:

Mike

I'll be there with my bride and 5 year old. Must sample some SC Q!

I'll try to have the BBQ ready around 2 to 3. That doesn't mean we have to eat then though. I'd say maybe around 5 or so for the real meal. Then it's on for the beer pong championship. And for Alex and I to reclaim our rightfull title of champions. Also is people want to come out friday night and drink and help with cooking the pig and camp that would be good. I need all the help I can get.

I think I would be down for some camping out friday night, and I can def. throw back a few cold ones :D

on a side note, would there be any interest in a local trail ride, Sat morning before the BBQ?

JP it appears we wont be able to defend our title as UC beer pong champions. Youll have to try and hold down the clemson honor without me. Grab Matt if he is going he was killing it last yr when I played with him.

I would also be down for some camping and helping with the pig Friday night. I'd also be down for a trail ride Saturday morning before the BBQ.

odd and ends

Directions: Located on Highway #135. From Greenville come 183 to the
4 way stop with 135. Take a right onto 135. Go about 10 miles until the
mountains fill your view as you top a hill with a powerline at the top.
We are about 1/8 mile down the hill on your right. Wood fence with
blue bird box. If you pass the driveway you will see Bridgeman's Cafe
on your left. Pull in and go back up the hill. Driveway will then be on your left.
From N.C. get on highway 11 headed toward the lakes. Take a left on
8 at the giant rocking chair at the Pumpkintown Opry. Stay on 8 for
about 8 miles. You will pass through the 4 way stop at Pumpkintown.
Highway 135 is about 1/2 mile from the 4 way stop. Turn left onto 135.
We are about a mile up the hill on your left, just past Bridgeman's cafe which will be
on your right.
Camping. Bring your tents. :) Our big tent is big but it will not hold a crowd this size. :grinpimp:
Friday night looks to be MONDO fun.
Special treats await the brave who come for the friday night party.
I'm so glad the old timers and newbies are making an appearance for this one.
It's going to be special.
Soooie....here piggy piggy! :bounce:

costs

I'd say we'll figure club costs as incurred. Marshall probably
will not know pig costs till we get a final head count. We can figure it
after costs are incurred and then let those who can, donate to
the club for reimbursement to Marshall. It should be a minimal
cost to those who can afford a donation. To those on a strained budget
I say come on an enjoy the fun and then donate when you are
better able to do so. Come and get it! Costs be damned!
Marshall and I will get together in advance to set menu and
related items. Covered dishes will be welcomed but not required.
BYOB of course.
Yo Marshall......gimme a ring to discuss details and planning.
Cell: 864-238-8868
Yeeee Haaaaa......house painting is done! So are we! :grinpimp:
If I never hold a brush of bamboo/barley/noctural green again
I'll die a happy man. :bounce:

ps: As party size is growing I've needed to arrange more parking.
The large field across the road from me will now serve as
Lot-O-Cruisers.
This will leave camping spots and room to roam at Point-o-View.
