I did - it was getting unbearable so I got that fixed a couple months back. So far from the few test drives I've had, I like the Tacoma a lot but you can tell it's lighter and less insulated from road noise and squeaks and rattles. I'm excited to have a manual 4x4 pickup that I can hopefully keep for a long time.Fix your AC and enjoy it. Also, post your thoughts on Tacoma vs 100 when you get around to it.
Dude... What’s the longest you’ve ever kept a vehicle?I did - it was getting unbearable so I got that fixed a couple months back. Ha! 4 years for this 100 is a record for me. The resale values here in Utah are crazy. It was cheaper to buy a brand new Tacoma with less options vs a 2018-9 with 20k miles but more optionsDude... What’s the longest you’ve ever kept a vehicle?
I’m just happy it’s a Taco - at least when you part ways in a year it’ll have a great resell value
Jk - It’s because I’m jealous.

I really don't get the pricing on Tacomas. It has been like that for a while too. I guess there are enough people willing to do an impulse buy to keep the used prices high.
Good luck with the sale of the 100. It will be an awesome truck for whoever buys it.
Sagging glove boxes, door panels falling off, plastic coolant systems, what’s not to love??Seeing the photos of the E36 had me momentarily weak for my old 97.
then I read the ad and the "typical E36" problems and that washed out the nice taste real quick. Hopefully you can get a buyer for one of your machines soon.
And the M3 is gone - sold in less than 36 hours with 4-5 offers. Maybe I should have charged more? ha
Looking like I'll just keep the 100. I bumped it one last time in the classifieds and we'll see what happens.
Now that it's gonna be relieved of daily driving duties, what should I do next, besides the obvious SAS?
Part time kit? Body lift? Massive antenna on the front bumper, Australian style? Try to fit 37s with flares from Iceland? DIY nightview with IR floods and GPNVGs? Scheel Mann seats, bump stops, transfer case gears, my wants list is endless
Good call - Congrats!
Easy. CarPlay head-unit with backup cam.
Then bump stops.
I miss my E36 M3 a lot. I had a Hellrot sedan. Yes, they have issues, but almost all cars of that age have issues. I've owned almost every sports car (except Ferrari/Lamborghini), and it was the most balanced car I've owned. Not tons of power, but such a fun car to drive in the mountains, or a good curvy road. I'll own another one some day.
Good luck man!
I have absolutely loved my Part Time kit. For a 100 with big tires and armor, etc. it is an exceptional upgrade. Reduce CV wear greatly. Less worrisome out on the trail if you happen to pop your front diff or a CV.
I saw Dan picked it up. He is a cool guy I have known for years! What's next for the 100? I vote you finally get around to a roof mounted tent. Pick up a hardshell one or something. And the M3 is gone - sold in less than 36 hours with 4-5 offers. Maybe I should have charged more? ha
I *sort* of miss my E36. I went from E36 to E90 M3 and that made me not miss the E36 that much. You are right about the balance. My favorite thing was the proportions of it. It fit like a tailored sock. Everything was right where you wanted it, and you could put it exactly where you wanted it to go. The E90 is otherworldly though.I miss my E36 M3 a lot.
