I missed 123,456 by a mile. Dammit.

The total trip was 2350 miles with about 300 on 2 track and dirt

Big props to the Dobinsons MRR suspension. This thing just hammers the trails.

Also I’m just as impressed with the Recon Grapplers as I have been the Ridge Grapplers over the years. They do everything the Ridge do and they are more quiet. I ran them at 20psi and we run fast. The sidewalls are tough. I smacked quite a few big rocks at speed.

I kept thinking about @cbmontgo in his fj40 there the week before and just rolled up the windows and enjoyed the heated seats.
Love The Whale! After the 16 Midnight Black found us, we recently added a 13 Crispy White to the portfolio. My memory is fading. How many miles did you start on The Whale?

Epic thread - thanks for taking us along for the ride. Still liking the new tires over the Ridge Grapplers?

I scratched the poo out of the paint when I took the Whale to Big Bend Ranch. I have been wanting to get it in the shop and give it some TLC for a while and finally caught a break and spent the morning getting it back looking good.

I also finally installed my Baja designs light bar. I still need a rocker switch that fits a 200 series blank for it.

Happy second (with me) birthday Whale.

128,000 trouble free miles and lots and lots of gasoline

Keep racking up the miles @wngrog

We are only at 47k on our 2020, but are about to hit MT, SD, ND.

Drive it like you own it,

Figure if my wife and I don’t wear this rig out—someone else will. 🤙🏼

Rolled 66K on our 2020 this week.

Rolled 11k on my 2020. Never even driven in rain.

The 200 is a blunt tool. Like a hammer. It is to be used. Not pretty enough to just park it. Not rare enough to save.

Summer road trip with a customer 40 and his trailer to the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania

I’ll be stopping about every 175 miles with this setup.

Stay tuned to see how the 200 handles pulling a sail behind it

Tank 3. Just over 1/3 of the way there. Same as tank 2.

6.78 mpg.

It’s crazy. I don’t want to tow this thing fast and it’s really not working hard or so it seems. I’m mostly in 5th gear. 2500 rpm-2800 rpm

It kicked to third a couple times on the big mountain at Chattanooga but I’m running 60-65.

One thing for sure. At 6 mpg when the light comes on it’s time for gas now.
