Took a road trip last week to Northern Georgia to deliver an 8274 and mount to a fellow mudder. Was great to finally meet in person. We’ve been internet and texting friends for several years. The tiny home on wheels worked out great. Averaged 21.1 mpg over a 1335 mile round trip.
The Cloudlands Canyon State Park is an amazing spot. Pristine setting with great views. My wife wasn’t up for anything but enjoying the outdoors, so no scenic overlook pics.

Great job on the deck Rush! Congrats on the graduation, nice looking young man. Keeping the hair short these days, just easier. Hoping to get out west on a road trip soon.
We know where they didn't get their goods looks.
Scraps you would be proud of me. Got turned around outside of Chattanooga and missed my exit. Stopped at the visitors center and guy gave me a paper map with the quickest way highlighted. Can’t beat a paper map, especially if phone service is iffy.

Nice Job! back to PigSet the last section of handrail at 2pm on Saturday (the day and time the graduation party was set to begin). Still have some small detail work to finish, but it’s complete. Too bad I don’t have any “before” pics for comparison.
Should be good to go to get on with Cruiser crafting.

I’m satisfied the most with how the stairs turned out. 6” channel stringers with 3/8” plate steps with 2” x 1/4” angle strong-backs covered with redwood 2x6’s held down with 3/8” carriage bolts. Solid

Spent a busy week at the ranch helping mom & dad out
Got a message night before we left that kiddo had flooded the house, oof, it’s been a week of over a dozen fans running in here. Plugged the toilet and the flapped hung, perfect. Ran for 4-6 hrs wide open, both kids rooms and the freshly completed basement are torn right out now.
Daughter has grad in 2 weeks and is sleeping on the sofa, that’s probably bothering me more than anything…she should be focused on the moment in life.
