Hinge rebuild service - maybe???

I have not been able to do much with the tailgate hinges. I used a couple of brass bushings from McMaster Carr to tune up mine. I could have used new cast hinge parts because mone are so pitted. However, as you know, there are none to be had. I ended up just bead blasting them and priming and painting them with several coats. Sorry, I am not much help with the tailgate. If you like, I can look up the p/n for McMaster Carr.

It should hold up well. It's 360 brass.

Just got my hinges back and .......wow. Nice work. I can't wait to put my doors on. He also did my hood hinges and they're awesome. Highly recommended.....

I found an 8mm pin kit on ebay that might work, I was just wondering why you haven't replied?

i am still here. been extremely busy since the spring. just picked up the last 20 rear window gears today. this will be the last run. havent forgotten the door hinges, i have just been super busy. my pig hasnt been touched in months. i got to get it done!

ha! let me clarify. I have been very busy with my 4 other businesses. I have to make a living from somewhere and it aint doing hinges! I have been eyeing my 55 lately. She has been neglected for several months, and she is patiently waiting for me to re-engage. I want to get it painted and to get the glass back in. Then its just a matter of all of the kinks getting worked out.
