Hey Brother are my PM's getting to you ( had a few questions ) Thanks Rob

Hey sorry. Yes. I've just been swamped with pm's since my shipment of carbs came in this week.

Bob - check the second post in this thread. I keep it updated. Look about half way down the post under "Parts we need."

Shop supplies/tools we need are listed there too but the most important tools and supplies we need are tables, jack stands, floor jacks, HEATERS, and any hand and/or air tools you want to bring. If you bring tools though please have them clearly marked as belonging to you so we can make sure everyone gets their stuff back.

Thanks!

Hey just throwing this out there Steve, tools are a must, floor jacks, everything you have posted I am sure will be used and appreciated ( Like the Heaters :grinpimp: )
But I have heard no mention of anyone bringing a Radio, Stereo or Boom Box :D So What kind of Wrenching Music do you all listen to :wrench:
Also I want to post up the names of those who have donated parts here to the house for this build, Shawn Russell, Landcrusher910, Rockcod , The guys who have posted up in the wanted section and mailed parts to Steve, My Wife Wendy for giving me the go ahead and making this trip and My son William for his time digging thru my parts pile helping me find stuff. That said I am counting the days until my Flight.

Time is getting close!

If anyone has tools you don't mind bringing please do - wrenches, drill bits, anything... Shop supplies including rags, grease, fluids, spray paint, etc...

We do need a good drill, also some grinders, air hoses, air compressors, lights would help too.

I also need someone to meet up with Cirbo near Charlotte to pick up a set of wheels, steering column and front shock mount. Please PM me or him if you can do this.

Thanks!

Overland Journal package is here!

I received a package from Overland Journal today. They sent some great stuff that will be given away at the event.

If you don't know about Overland Journal you should check them out. It is an awesome vehicle-dependent overland travel magazine - really good stuff. I just renewed my membership for an additional two years a few months ago.

THANKS OVERLAND JOURNAL!!!

Boy do I envy you all! This weekend is going to be nice for that family, Where can I purchase a shirt from? Hope all have some safe travels and have helluva time with the rebuild

I was planning on getting a whole bunch of rolls of those blue paper towels, mineral spirits for cleaning parts and some spray can black paint and primer...

I personally like the rusty metal primer and gloss black from rustoleom but if anyone else has better preferences I can get that instead (krylon etc.)

let me know

That sounds good Ant. I was thinking Rustoleum primer and gloss black. I swear the gloss black cleans up better than the matte or semi-gloss. You just gotta let the Rustoleum paint cure well or it'll come off easy.

agreed.

I'll pick up 5 of the big cans of each paint/primer
