Cooper ST MAXX 255/75 R17 (Going 255/80 on next set
FJC 8 Hole wheels
Dobinsons lift:
-C59-302, 2" front coil
-GS59-221, front nitro shock
-C595-675V, under 2" variable rate coil
-GS59-705, comfort valved rear nitro shock
Firestone airbags.

Love the ride. Air bags needed with a trailer or heavy load. If had a more consistent heavy load I would get heavier rear coil. Works great for me.

No lift, rear bags replaced with springs, factory wheels power coated with Tiger Drylac Bengal Silver, 1" spacers, Michelin Defender LTX M/S 265/70/17. Aesthetically, while not really captured in photos very well, this setup makes the truck look noticeably more beefy and a bit more 100-series-Land Cruiser-like in terms of proportions vs. the stock size tires and no spacers.

do you have a link or a name for the spacers you used? I really dig the look.

I really like 255/80R17 on this truck. It feels like it was made for this truck. I am amazed that I have no rub at all with no lift and jut removing running boards and moving front fender liner forward a bit. Not to mention the stock OEM wheels fit perfectly for this size tire without having to add spacer.

It also depend on what you like. I really like the somewhat stealthy offroader look.

255/80/17 will fit stock?

Never really tried 100‰ stock. But I never rub with running board removed and I already moved front fender liner forward a bit. I also noticed my front control arm was adjusted a bit forward about 3/8-1/2" off center to gain more caster previously.

No BMC no flattening of fender seam and 100‰rub free off road. Off road never tried before I add temporary 1.5" leveling block.

Couldn't agree more... this tire size seems to fit this truck really well, both looks and performance. One added bonus- they're inside the wheel wells more which is less wind resistance, and your truck doesn't get as muddy.

@nakman Good points. What did you have to do to fit 255/80R17s on factory wheels? Remove running boards, trim wheel well plastic, and refresh stick-height front springs/shocks to restore front height? All these needed to fit?

255/75r17 KO2's. Spare tire fits in stock location with 10mm of space to the panhard bar.
TRD Pro/TTUE installed last week. Kept rear air springs for now. Front saw 1" lift with this setup.

Got it up on some rough gravel and light trail this weekend. Felt great and even better with some speed on the gravel!

BC Forged LE61 in 20x11 -20 wrapped in 33x12.50x20 Toyo Open Country RT Tires. Currently the front is lifted around 1" higher with the rear being completely stock.

Side skirts, front fender liners were lightly trimmed with the addition of some front bumper corner support rods to kick the edges of the bumper out away from the tire (to keep from having to trim the bumper).
