What is it with guys telling their wives about the crazy things we do!? hahahaha

Yeah really!!! Pussys J/K!!!! They see it dangerous and we see it being a challenge. When my wife and I were dating she would go wheeling with me quiet often. Since the ole ring has been on her finger she cares nothing about it. It was awesome to have her wanting to go but it's nice to have "guy time" too. I'm trying to talk her into bringing the girls up for a couple hours so she can meet some of my crazy mud friends. We will see how that works out. Being 35 minutes from the house isn't bad either.

My wife said, "We're getting a divorce if you run that trail." "Kady needs her daddy." "How much life insurance do you have?"

I'm out.

LMAO.

so are their any bypasses on the mor difficult trails?
Oh Ted, for your list, don't forget to add a good bit of time for trail 3. Remember that last hill had lots of nice trail divides with really technical climbouts to the gravel. I'm pretty sure I'll take Clutchee over there and we'll spend some time seeing what's doable and not.

not typically, that's why Steve mentioned turning around and going back on a trail earlier. They rate the trails by the most difficult obstacle on said trail regardless of how long it is. For instance, you could have 5 mile long trail that's very easy except for one spot half way in, so you're poking along no big deal and WHAM- hit a creek crossing that you have no business on. So-- you have a choice, turn around or not...

You're not going to be happy by the end of the day trying to follow around a a group that isn't too worried about bent fenders.

Don't worry though Andrew, as long as you get in with the right group, you're going to have a blast. There will be guided trail rides for all levels too. Just keep asking people where they've been and you'll get an idea of what trails to go to and to stay off of. Even if you end up on a trail like 12 and are disappointed that you have to turn around and backtrack the whole thing, you'll still be happy at the end of the day.

Andrew , My two sons and :princess: are coming along this year I'm really excited. I plan on teaching them more trail riding skills! All three of them! Anyway I have already done Walden Ridge (AKA Closed Casket Ridge:eek::eek::eek:), and Launched out of the Double Black Diamond Trail Steve was refering to earlier, in the Dark with two wheel drive and Lots of right pedal.
Anyway We will probably tone it down a little this trip despite now having Longfields!!!(See Previous two wheel drive comment!!!)-- Trollhole is also looking for some relaxation in the Woods Lots to explore and see!!! Ill be arriving Thursday by way of South Carolina (Pick up my 40) after a Trip to California to Close a little Retirement Deal!!!

Are those pics Upper 2 or Schoolbus? Or am I wrong on both guesses?

Up I-75 into Chattanooga then over on 24.

If you guys are coming up 24 then you must be detouring thru Nashville. Straight up 75 should put you right into the edge of Knoxville then over to Pelissippi Pkwy thru Oak Ridge on 62 to Oliver Springs would be the most direct route I would think.

Thanks for the offer buddy, but I don't think I'll want to come off of the trails for a whole day just to make the trip with y'all. So I think I'll just remain at the park wheeling while y'all caravan. :flipoff2:

Neither one of those 40's get wheeled anymore...:bang:

John don't mind at all and, well, Josh...that's a whole different story.

hopefully see you on Tuesday around mid day but we'll see how it plays out. I know you'll be on the trail already but Im-a-tryin'. I'm gots your number.

lol...I thought we went on 24 last time. I am probably wrong. That may of been for GMP.

That is one of the ways to go to GMP. I usually go the "back way" tho.

Anyway, between us we'll have maps and navs and gps and stuff so I think we'll be ok.
