Do any of you guys have a plan or schedule yet? I'm thinking of going up Friday morning.

No WiFi in camp. Cell/aircard signal is spotty in some places in the park, but appears to be strong at top of mountain where the main pavilion, RV and tent camping are located. They may have wifi in the bunkhouse by GSMTR, but no guarantees.
I plan on bringing my VZ MiFi card. I forgot to bring it when we were up there last month to check signal, so don't know how well it will work. My VZ Blackberry was able to call and text, but 3G kept going in and out.

Planning to leave early Friday morning (the 11th) if anyone wants to caravan up, think it's about an hour+ north of Chattanooga.
What time are you leaving? I'm thinking VERY early just to have some time to play on Fri. May have two others wanting to caravan as well.

I'm thinking of leaving around 7ish, I'd like to get up there around 11-11:30 (ET) if possible. From my house in N Forsyth my plan is shoot across Hwy 53 to 515 and then Hwy 136 until it hits I-75 in Resaca. from there it's an easy shot north.
Did this a couple weeks ago and it's cake.

talked to SC the other night and I thought he was thinking of going up mid week. I assume you guys want to meet along I-75, We always meet at the Flying-J Truck Stop at Resaca Lafayette Rd. and I-75 about 9 AM when we head north.

Could I ask a favor? I am leaving for GSMTR early in the week, but Melissa has soccer try-outs through Thursday night. Would it be possible for her to catch a ride with someone on Friday that is headed up to GSMTR? I will be at Golden Mountain to take receipt of my navigator.
To set a reference frame; We live in Kennesaw, not too far off 75 at the Chastain exit. She has made every GSMTR since '99, so she has a decent track record going and I would hate to see it end.

Metal Tech pallets arrived.
80 series sliders
40 front profile cage
40 tube doors
180 new orange Metal Tech pint glasses (you will be the first to get these)
Plus a bunch of other Metal Tech stuff.
Also have a 30 spline Long field super set from Bobby Long
A couple sets of M Dana 60 U joints
Some of his new knuckle wipers
Camel X sent a Hi-Lift, some compressors and a few repair kits.
TLCA stepped up to the plate and sent a whole box of Toyota Trails mags and stickers. Also have some other swag from them being delivered to the park next week. Have to say they have gone all out in making sure we are well taken care of.
Then we get to my office. Where there are way more boxes of stuff than I can shake a stick at.
Shane Walters at Metric TLC sent two sets of very cherry bench seat upholstery for a 40. This is the full set front and back.
JT's sent us a full Nitro Birfield Kit for a 40, 60 or 80 series.
CCOT sent a bezel and some other stuff.
+ there is a lot of flat stuff. (gift cards and discounts)

Hey all puffin smoke signals from Augusta!!!!! Anyone to head up on Monday? Workin sunday night and leaving whenever to hopefully set camp before nighfall! My dad and I. may can squeeze a passenger if need be. Rookie practice before the Mini truck shows up hehehehe!!
Oh yea its also time to start being a HAM again. Anyone have any gear they wanna part with????
