In2cruisers you are correct I have bought a number of items from Michael, when I was last over there he was going out of country and I purchased a number of his parts. If you are serious interested in a half cut let me know.

I will have at least one H55f if more is needed I will have my contact round them up.
few other things 2ea 1hz and a 2h. FJ45 1985 model ( yes 85 at least that is what the bloke claims I had him double check).
 
A H55F/split transfer case out of a HJ47 would be nice. Shifter in the correct area for the 40 series and probably have a hand brake on the back of the transfer case. A original ARB 40 series bull bar. The rear fold down seats out of a BJ4X series LX that face forward.
 
Can you bring back a 100 series light force bumper? How much of a deposit do I have to put down?
 
Let me know if you are in Adelaide. I've got a few parts I'll send off (82 FJ45 pickup tub in good shape, LX rear axle, etc). I can also introduce you to some good wreckers.

If I could figure out how to go over and stay... Will work for beer, surfing long right handers in Noosa and those cheep blondes....

Want or will take an H55 thats in decent shape and a set of true ausie mirror in black please. Shifter handle and knob too. Keep me posted or will give ya a call!!
 
For all interested in H55.. getting them is not a issue just need to know in what kind of condition you prefer.
Naturally if used in most cases I can only take the word of the seller. I do my best to get quality parts but there is always that chance.
There is the reconditioned route expensive but peace of mind.
Then there is also used with rebuild kits.

Keep in mind bell housings and transfer cases.

In any case all who are serious please contact me with your current set up and parts wanted and I will start rounding them up.

I purchased a 84 BJ42 through/with the help of Scott (68volfan) about a year ago. Everything went as I expected (although it is very hard waiting), but the wait was worth it, the truck is awsome. Scott has shipped a number of containers and is familiar with the customs, etc.
I actually found my truck on a used auto classifieds site (there are a number of them), he was able to check it out for me and make the deal. This all worked because timing a local all fit together. He does have connections over there that may help with this as well.
I thought I would throw this out there in case anyone was wondering the creditability of Scott, I would gladly do any business with him again.
