anyone have experience with adjusting the torsen bars for extra lift in the front?

I haven't done it on a 2wd but there is usually a bolt you turn to crank up the tension on the bars for lift. Back in the 80's people would lift the 2wds to put stock 4wd size tires on which were 28.5". That plus a body lift plus trimming sometimes with flares would give the max clearance for tires. Careful to not get them so tight you have no travel.

Yeah on the 100 series

about to drive this 650 miles to Moab tomorrow . Got some work done on the livery. Ran out of transfer tape so this is likely what it’s gonna look like in Moab

Needs moar lift!
it could def use a couple moar inches in the front. we couldnt figure out the torsen bar lift because the top nuts might be seized and the entire bolt and nut was just spinning without moving the front up or down. i gave up for now, had other priorities like putting more stickers on it.

You need help with lights? I don't have any scrap metal....

:lurking::popcorn:

What size of square steel do you need? I have access to lots of 16-18” off cuts of 1.5”x0.120” square tube from work.

the photos in the last picture are what im dealing with. figure i just need some sort of bar to bolt the 4 factory bolts on each side onto and ill just find flat spot on the front of the frame to weld to. it would be cool if it was strong enough to use the factory tow points on the joop bumper but looking good is all that really matters. ill pull the front bumper soon and see what im working with. the rear i was just gonna reuse the rusty hitch mount.

i hate wiring. i would love to watch you wire in some lights. i have a light bar, CB radio, and their are factory fog lights that are in one of the front bumpers that could be wired in also. and since this truck is sooooo basic it didnt even have a CIG 12v i have one of those USB amazon special plugs to put into the hole that they put on the dash but never installed. i have a ton of left over wire from the FJC having the dual battery system wiring installed twice

About to cut the muffler off and put this bad boi on. Cherry bomb!

Front jeep bumper went on super easy no weld just longer bolts in the factory holes and put a piece of metal 2x4 behind it to bolt up under the plastic. Had some HF trailer lights that replaced the old turn signals. This thing looks factory! The OEM fog lights will work once i figure out how to wire them.
