I saw in the for sale section they are made to order... How long after ordering should one expect they'll ship? I have a 96 and live in Va so I know it would be about 3-4 days by ground

Lou
It has been taking 1-2 weeks to get them out the door. They can be made with the mud flap attachment blocked off or they can be made to accept your mud flaps.

Thanks.... I may be in touch with you in a couple of weeks

Flares look great. Love the black satin finish that matches with every truck. Nice work. If my flares get bashed this will be a sweet option. I am not a huge fan of flareless 80's

Group buy

https://forum.ih8mud.com/showpost.php?p=8495942&postcount=50

93-97 flares are now being offered with mud flap attachment points deleted. The first 4 takers for pocket flare kits to work with or without mud flaps will get a nice break.

If an Internet tax makes it to Obama and it gets signed I will no longer accept any form of payment other than a check in the mail.

I would also be interested in a version with more clearance, any plans to do some?
I realize this would entail an entire new mold, so there had to be demand. So if anyone else is interested chime in.

I'll take a non mudflap set for a '95.

Please pm me details for payment and shipping.

The link is dead and I just noticed it an old post. Is the offer still out there.

Not sure this can be accomplished since it would require a standard wheel well shape.

I do think that these flares can work well with 37s though trimming may be required as with the OEM flares. Since these flares attach from the outside through the pockets they do allow for further modification without losing rigidity when attached.

Any picture of the non mudflap ones mounted?
I have made one set without flare attachment points, but have not yet seen them mounted.

You can envision what they look like by imagining that attachment area removed and replaced with flat material.

I paid! Forward motion ;)

Ordered our set of flares for the EMSPowered Land Cruiser earlier today. Thanks for the group buy price jamisobe.

Are these wide enough to accommodate a 285 width tyre without any of the tyre sticking past the flare when the wheels are straight?

Could I use rivnuts as mounting points instead of self tapping bolts?

Wow, didn't realise I hadn't posted on here before. PITA when you can't edit your post and feels weird to be on a forum where I don't have hundreds of posts.

Just to confirm what I mean, if I drove up hard against a wall, the flares need to touch before the tyre does or it won't be legal in Australia.

Yes, you would be fine. These pocket flares are the same dimensions as the OEM flares. My 315s did not extend past the pocket flares until 1.5 inch spacers are used.

You can use rivnuts though I do not provide rivnuts. I would give you $10 off if you ordered the kit without the Torx self threading hardware.
