The cheapest I have been able to find to ship the kits to Australia is about $400 through a DHL affiliate. UPS and FedEx both wanted over $800. The box is big even though it only weighs about 30lbs. The EPDM flare trim gaskets by themselves are only $5 more to Aus than shipping them in the US (first class).

I have 10 complete kits sold at this point. I have attached pictures of two trucks that have completed the installation and have provided pictures. These flares are repairable unlike the OEM flares. If one or both of the rear sections are ever damaged beyond repair they are also very inexpensive to ship. The front flares require a box that is 48 inches long.

I have a set of pocket flares on my 80 They aren't like bushwhackers had to drill into them without brackets and there pointless fiberglass but they look cool,

Do yours have brackets or are they the same thing as for what i have already???

Thanks, got a link or pictures? These are complete kits with instructions that include black oxide Torx bolts, black oxide washers, trim gaskets, and pucks for mounting the rear door sections. OEM mud flaps bolt up and they are made with high quality flexible fiberglass. Shipping in the US runs $60-80. If you can get the same thing shipped from Japan for $200 I cannot match that price. In fact, I haven't even seen mass produced, polypropylene bushwhackers for any truck sold for that price.

Do you know another fire rescue guy from Colorado Springs named Timberguy007 on this forum or something like that? He posted up pictures of my truck earlier this year and said that I was his buddy and that he made the flares on my truck (He was a repulsive, bald face pathological liar of course). You would probably know him if you work in fire rescue. He would also be driving a Land Cruiser unless he sold it. I think he said he had it for 6 years or something like that and that he had 500k miles on it or something? Know who I'm talking about?

I don't have any clue I know people by real names not usernames haha mine isn't "K9searchers" theres quite a few guys here in CO and more on craigslist with cruisers, mine just hit 213k miles with a small oil leak 500k may not be in the cards for me. and i have no clue about made ones not sure what your insinuating.... mine has been stock except for the flares and recently some L/risers, 33s, rack, HID lights... just a project. Anyways got my flares from Untiy4WD either China or Japan

PM'd ya...

These flares rocks!

Will the 91-92 flares fit 93-97 trucks? It seems like they should provided you get new mudflaps. I like the look of the narrower flares and since both require drilling it shouldn't be extra effort. Is this correct or are there body differences that would prevent this?

I have decided to stop offering the 91-92 version. The 93-97 are about a 1/4" wider and I have had no fitment issues whatsoever after selling 12 sets. I have had some minor issues with the 91-92 versions that were worked out. I'd rather not have any issues so I am now only making the 93-97 versions available.

I don't mean to go off subject, but just curious what happened to that top Cruiser's driver side mirror?

It's there, just chrome backed and lost in the glare. Please pm me a price. I ripped the stock flares off. Any thoughts on a higher clearance version for those of us running 37's+ and lower lifts?

Why not pre-drilled holes on the flares?
Will the sun overtime make them brittle and/or fade like some jeep flares did a few years ago?
water/moisture (rusting) issues overtime from drilling and not protecting fender's metal?

There are no quality issues. If you like I will predrill your holes for you for an extra charge of $5 per wheel for a total of $20. I recommend drilling them on the fender however to ensure the holes line up properly for the bolts (even if you only drill through enough to mark the fender and then remove the flare to drill the fender).

I saw in the for sale section they are made to order... How long after ordering should one expect they'll ship? I have a 96 and live in Va so I know it would be about 3-4 days by ground
