you have VERY low standards
The city has just come out of lock down. However, the ship that was originally booked is long gone. Currently there's a huge backlog of containers at port and sky high prices (see news coverage here). I'll be looking for another opportunity to ship. Realistically, I'd give an ETA toward year end.

Shipping is a killer. That makes wholesale cost $631.80 each, ouch. Plus that is just the shell.

Yeah, that's a lot. But the market alternatives are $3k gozzard doors or ~$1,200 Colombian doors that seem to be really bad. If these doors are good quality and are somewhere in the middle on pricing, then they're worth it to me!

Correct, import fees and 25% tariff to US, plus crate cost.
My rough estimate is $1300 / set retail, but October / November timeline is unrealistic. You are competing with all the goods that are trying to come in before Christmas.

So the ten pieces is actually ten sets? That changes everything. How does that tariff work? When I bought an used H55F and transfer case in Australia don't remember paying anywhere near that much. Is non commercial different or where tariffs raised a bunch since 2017?

All these figures + estimated delivery are theirs (the manufacturer in China), see the Link I gave mate.
Shipping cost used to be affordable, as Living in the Past mentioned, but it seems that increased significantly (if not prohibitively) in the COVID era. Ιt never rains but it pours...
Moreover, the manufacturer is referring to pieces, not sets (see the Link).

$1,300 for a set would be totally unrealistic. I'm kicking myself for not getting my parts shipped spring of last year. I was worried things would go into lock down. Now shipping have sky rocketed. A while back a member im Australia found some 84 doors for me. Got them half way across Australia. Just need to get them here. My only saving grace is I've only invested around $300 so far for the set. Also will be on a pallet with other parts which I'm hoping will help with the shipping cost per item.
Is it just me or does the link in post 129 bring up perfume?
Sounds to me like somebody needs a “free” vacation to Australia, & bring em back In cardboard boxes as checked bags !!
(brought a complete Slee 6” lift kit back to Alaska, for the cost of a companion ticket on a business trip !!!)
