We'd also need the brackets made. I have a set that can be copied if he wants them to use.

I can also cut off a bumper end on one of the two mangled ones that I have if it helps to get the curve right.

There were both the lower, and upper bracket drawings, but I'll let Kevin know some parts might be available as samples if needed

Brackets are simple. The upper brackets are the same as on the 62 and later FJ40 just shorter. All you need is to cut a later one down. Then if you really want to be correct you need to fill the hole used for a bolt at the end of the frame. The early brackets didn't use this bolt. The bottom one is just a piece of flat metal with three holes drilled. John (Pardion) might add how hard it is, I sent him the pattern years ago.

A little late on a response but the frame width on a FJ25 is the same as a FJ40 and would work.

I do believe the metal thickest is lighter than the later FJ40s. The mounting system is also lighter. By it's design it will buckle easier then a FJ40. But it is the correct bumper for cruisers older than the 1962 model.

I have been emailing with Alexandra at Pacol about having bumpers made. She has said that it would be possible to make a jig.
I don't want to get any hopes up, but i am looking for a count of people interested. Also looking for a sample bumper or a pattern if there are any still around to send to them. Let me know, hopefully this might work.

you might want to contact Toyota FJ40 for Sale - The FJ Company - Land Cruiser Restoration , I know they are actively restoring many Land Cruisers including early ones.
Also try to speak with Greg Miller at Land Cruiser Heritage Museum , he ended up with a few of them from his parts purchasing a few years back.

I have emailed FJ CO, haven't heard back yet. Talked with the Heritage museum, they said that they would help, as long as the bumper doesn't have to leave their property ( very understandable).

technically i don't think annie came with one, but if the price isn't outrageous, i'd take one. i can vouch that treeroot would take at least one, but most likely three

How about canvas for the soft top bows and extra canvas to redo the doors?
