John, I tried to drop you a PM but it seems that your all full.

Any chance I could interst you in selling this bumper if you don't have the time to head up this reproduction?

I cleaned out my mail box a little.

As far as selling the bumper:lol::lol::lol: I willing to make a pattern. Would be next week at the earliest be for I could get it done. I have to move a family member from out of state. Until I get that done everything else is on the back shelf. Once I get a pattern to Oscsr I think he will be heading up the reproduction. Not sure what else we would have to do. Anyone know the gauge of the metal used in their FJ40 bumper.

John

John,

Is your bumper straight?

Mine is a little tweaked, but I sent a pattern up to Dean, with the gauge thickness, maybe he can forward it to Oscar too.

I had/have been in contact with Oscar...I should be OK to copy the template this week-end, and send it out next week.

OK. Let's keep in touch. I've posted my phone number so when you're ready just give me a call and we'll finalized the details, thanks guys...

hopefully everyone interested will read this post.

Dean has sent the necessary info for Oscar to reproduce the bumper. Oscar wants a number from those of us interested in buying one.

Dean is Oscar looking for those interested to call him or just reply to this thread?

I'm in for two myself.

Maybe we should start a new thread specific to "FJ25 front bumper reproduction"?

i would be interested in getting the dimensions or a copy of the pattern
to make my own

I sent Oscar copies of the bumper drawings Jim had sent me, and he was to start building some shortly. I did send him an e-mail a short spell ago, and this is what he told me. :meh:

I'll send him another e-mail today to see what's up.

Offer still stands, if he needs an original to work with, I can send mine down. I would just prefer that he look at the pattern and pictures first to see it it could be a practical reality.
