Fresh Pull Stuck (1 Viewer)

Any idea why my fresh pull knob feels like it is stuck in the outward position? Do I just need to lube her up?

unhook it from the trap , (it is located behind the plastic grill on passenger side firewall) and try to pull on the wire with plier and on the knob , in and out a couple time to got it lube

Mine gets hung up on something back there sometimes. I just fish my hand in the radio hole and move things around.

I guess I should have explained a bit further. It is currently not hooked up to the door. I can pull it out further just fine but it appears to just be stuck here when I try to push it in any further. I refinished the painted letter so it looks like it is new! I will try grabbing the wire end with some pliers, lube it up and see if it breaks loose.

Ahh...dang nice work!

Probably just needs some penetrating oil. I had to soak one of my cables in evapo-rust to get the crud out.

Safer to remove the cable and work on it away from that pretty dashboard.

Mine is stuck too which normally doesn't matter cuz you need fresh to keep the windows de-fogged. I think it just needs lube and to get worked back n forth more often.

That's what she said.

Also the cable prefers to be pulled rather than pushed due to the design. When you push mine it likes to deflect rather than move the flapper.
