no glass, a bit rusty. I can take a pic if you like. there's a couple brackets just bolted to it. not sure what they were used for. no mirror. the vents for the defrost are there. I have to look again, but I think it has the old vent at the bottom, like early 60's style.
Maybe folks already know, but saw it this AM at some used dealership next to Meyers RV on Central near Juan Tabo. Red w/ white hard top - looked ok and realtively stock, just old and faded. Think the windshield said $4750

'85 FJ60 with ~160K miles. Good body. No Rust. Good interior except for damage to dash by stereo thieves. Needs new engine.

So it is Toyota engine month at my place. I was driving back from the Blue Range wilderness last night and lost a rod bearing just north of Socorro. Good times. Thankfully I was close enough to home, my father in law picked up the tow bar and drug my rig home at 2 AM.
Anybody have a line on a 2F short block or complete runner?

Just found out a few hours ago the seller on the EM house flaked out. I think it was a case of seller's remorse. Our offer was considerably lower than the asking price. Plan B: We are now moving forward in negations on a house in Corales. This one has a nice big 3 car garage.
I will be able to hang on to the project for now, but much less likely to ever get a 800 ft^2 work shop, and the 20 minute EM commute sure sounds better than the Corales 50 minute commute to KAFB. Life is full of compromise.
