are you doing a bikini?

Yes Brian a Bestop bikini top till I get my drivers side rear quarter fixed and the hardtop on!

You can attach the footman loops to the windshield frame using a combination of the sun visor mounting holes and the hole for the L bracket for the hardtop.
Loop the straps under the roll bar then forward to the windshield.
No extra holes required.

I couldn't find these either when I was looking. Went to Menards, Home Depot, and all the auto parts stores in town. First problem I had was that I didn't know what the hell it was called, so it took a lot of explaining and finally picture drawing. Still no luck and didn't want to wait to order some. I just bought a couple eye bolts for the time being. Glad I saw this, I'll probably go ahead and order some now.

I like that idea! Otherwise I may have to modify/mangle my existing footman loops!

dustinuhls the fit is not perfect, I will have to modify the ones I bought FWIW or go with brians unique idea......will look at it when I get home later

I was curious about that idea too. It would keeps the straps out of the rear passenger area, but I don't really want to take my sun visors off...

May modify my loop

This is where my footman loops are located for my bikini top.

Bad pic , but my footman loops were bolt on. Not sure of the year on the tailgate though. As far as the Bikini Top , I put one footman loop on each side of the roll bar.

OEM tap is M6 X 1.00. Cant find loop to fit so looks like I am going to have to get "ghetto" on my hooking point................

I tried finding the ones on Amazon but they were no longer available. I searched high and low and found these. They are almost exactly like OEM. The site has measurements so I compared to the ones on my truck. Only difference is they are a tad shorter in height. I went with stainless but plan on painting them. The picture makes them look a little off but they arent they look darn good in person.

Stainless Steel Footman Loop
Size 1 1/2 inches.
Cost $3.40 each
Stainless

Should I use sheet metal screws or standard nuts and bolts to fasten to the outside sides of the tub?? I am going FST.
