the 1 1/2" with an eye to eye dimension of 2.56" (~ 2 5/8"). Available in stainless, nickel and anodized. They are cheap enough that I ordered black and stainless. I think I will go with the black.

@JohnnyC ... Does ANYBODY make the hat section base and loop clamp for the FSTs? Real steel makes the FST bow kit but they put a small two hole tab on the bottom of the tube and only one hole lines up with a factory bolt hole. They look too easy to make. Why not make them?

And for the discussion here, I'm working on a '74 FJ40 and the footman's loops are bolted on below the channel. Not in front of me but possibly 3mm or 4mm bolts and nuts. Phillips round heads.
