Yes, it IS happening! So hard to believe how far it’s come. Wish I had some better “before” pics, but was gonna throw up a couple of the underside for comparison. Huge difference. So sexy!
Its when that image that you have had in your head for sooooo long actually starts to become a reality. Wow! Its happening!
I got my first gallon last Friday. Can’t wait to get shooting!
Do it!!!
Whoa, dude, this is happening! You are doing it!Two coats of SEM Pro-Tex truck bed liner. Second coat has the ceramic microspheres.

Must have been at one point. I think not long after I discovered that the cowl grill portion was removable, I cleaned out a bunch of pine needles and leaves and dirt. But that was long ago. There wasn’t a bunch in there this last time, but it wasn’t spik-n’-span either.Wow, I have been away too long! Can't wait to see more. Why was the metal in the cowl pitted? Did you have a bunch of leaves and debris build up in there?
So you think painting the dash area black was a final step before windshield? So here’s something interesting -
Beneath the factory black paint on the dash, and the overspray on the inner firewall was both white and red
A good portion of the black overspray could be easily removed by wiping with an acetone soaked rag.

As one of my favorite teachers used to say, "Nothing to it, but to do it!"Painted.
Sanded.
Sandblasted.
Cut.
Welded.
Grinded.
Sanded.
Cleaned.
Wiped.
Prepped.
Primered.
And didn’t really get any good pics cause I was in a hurry yesterday to get things done yesterday before an early dinner.
Was debating on taking it easy today, but there’s some stuff I can do and don’t have any other plans![]()
Or possibly an American market thing? Not sure. I have noticed more of the overseas, solid tone 55’s with body colored dashes as opposed to the black (when interior shots are included). So you think painting the dash area black was a final step before windshield?
