HA! now the site says 3 sold and 1 left...this morning it said 2 sold and 1 left. have faith, cruiser dudes!

Googling the part number brings up a lot of parts sites selling it like PartsGeek and Summit racing. There are more sources :)

Any updates on this?? I've got a sticking throttle that I've tracked down to the cable, which feels like it's frayed in there. And now I'm freaking out..

mine showed up today. prolly wont install it on moms day....will post pics

As @Cruiserdrew said. It's a dead ringer. The link st summit seemed to be the cheapest route if you're getting enough extras to get free shipping...otherwise, not bad for about 43 bucks and a one week

Thanks guys for the legwork! Just ordered one from AutoZone for $34.99 plus $2.56 tax and free shipping. BTW, the eBay listing now shows 0 available/4 sold.

We have the pioneer pn. Might be worth buying a few extras or even prodding the mfg about the long term plans for the pn...

No but no doubt it'll work. The jury rigged cable is doin fine. I'm banking this one and have the used oem as a spare under the back seat.

Well, talk about timing.. Both s***ty and good. After a spin to Home Depot, and the throttle sticking again, I decided to check out the cable one more time. This time I cut away about 1/4" of the outer casing on the end where it nuts up to the throttle body. Lo and behold, there's several wire ends sticking out of the spiral metal wire loom, small pieces of wire shaking out, and the cable has pretty much stuck itself there.. Best part is that it did it in the driveway, the crappy part was that she was going to help out a fellow mudder that was needed a rig for a photo shoot, and I pulled the rug on him at the last minute. Sorry again about that Shane..

Waiting for the new one from Summit...

Just wanted to throw in my 0.02 cents, since I replaced mine yesterday with the earlier mentioned cable...

Bought mine from Autozone. Was $36ish, and took 2 days to arrive as a special order part. Is definitely the same cable as shown in @LAMBCRUSHER 's pictures.

Long story short, it works, but the only part that didn't quite fit right was the white plastic piece on the gas pedal end (see earlier pics for reference). Those three pieces have to slip through a metal hole on the bracket that connects to the firewall, and the white plastic piece is sized/cut wrong, making it just slightly too big for that hole in the bracket. I just took a file to the edges of that hole, and was able to force the white piece in through the hole to get it through. Other than that, this cable works great, and I'm glad we have an alternative. My original was destroyed, so it's nice to have it back on the road.

Thanks for the info. I just got mine in the mail yesterday, ordered it through AutoZone for about the same price. It won't go in just yet, I'll wait until I get ready to install the 3FE into my '86 FJ60 project vehicle. My original is still working OK, but I'll use the new one and keep the old one for a spare.

Sorry it took so long to get back to this, but it works. As CaptHamster noted, the bracket that holds the dash mounted throttle knob cable has a hole the assembly passes through, and you need to file it a little to open the hole up. Other than that, pretty dead on replacement.

Had a scary near-runaway situation where accelerator stuck last night. Tracked it down to the cable. Looks like BJ60 uses the same part as the FJ60. Ordered one of the Pioneer Automotive CA-9013 from Autozone (saved a few bucks off the Summit price), and will fit it as soon as it gets in and report back here on BJ60 fitment.

FJ60's don't have throttle cables.
