Machining a bushing is over my head. I wouldn't know where to begin finding the specs on the bushings. I don't even on a micrometer set so I wouldn't be able to take measurements either.

The rebuild kit does not come with the bushing for the input shaft.

Correct!

A few years ago I met a Toyota tech who gave me a source for replacement bushings (not a Toyota part).
I actually got the bushings and they looked like a good fit, but I found another used pump and then never took mine to a shop with a press.
I need to dig out those bushings and see where I bought them from...

I Would look at the Saginaw conversion because when I worked on toyota's professionally we would constantly replace rebuilt pumps that didn't last long or leaked right out of the box. Plus the GM parts (Saginaw conversion) you can find anywhere dirt cheap. I wouldn't go with an hard to find somewhat exotic pump as it may be hard to find in the future. (volvo)

Let me know if you find them ,I could use pictures of them.

I have good news, and bad news.

I found the bushings, and the bag they came in, but no paperwork, and the part # on the bag is very difficult to read.

I will get pictures up shortly...

I bought a new Toyota pump 3 years ago. I was gone sell it but I changed my mind. I now have an hj60, I know the reservoir is separate from the body and hav no idea if the pumps are the same for the fj and hj but I'd have to check before I might actually sell it.

No paperwork, but I remembered the guy sent me an email!

Kaman Industrial Technologies

www.kamandirect.com

Part # GBI MB2225DU - Metric DU Self Lube Bearing

The only problem is that when I search this part # on the Kaman site, I come up empty.

This part # is from May of 2007. I met this guy on Cruise Moab the year before I got my Pig. Holy cow, am I getting old?

Thanks for digging those up man. Maybe you could loan one to one of the machinists here and they could replicate it? I have been under the impression that these were unobtanium and nobody was too keen on pulling a new pump apart to measure...

I called Kaman and she was able to help me with the part number change, but they don't have any available. She is checking with the manufacturer, and will call me back...

Good news is that back in the day I think I paid less than $4/each for these.

Bad news is that I never got my old ones pressed out and pressed these in to try them. The guy that told me about them was a Toyota tech and said he had done a lot of them.
