This is the way I went . Have a intact leaker up for grabs.

I know it's been a little while since you posted this. Hopefully someone can shed some light on my issue. I'm looking to order the same pump you bought. However, when I put my model year in (1987), it's saying it won't fit. ??. I don't get it...

Never mind. Apparently I didn't select "G Wagon" when inputting my vehicle type. After putting my VIN in the system, it cross checks. Sorry guys.

What's the bushing brand and part no ? I'll get some and give it a try. Thanks, Mike

From my post back on page 2:

No paperwork, but I remembered the guy sent me an email!

Part # GBI MB2225DU - Metric DU Self Lube Bearing

The only problem is that when I search this part # on the Kaman site, I come up empty.

This part # is from May of 2007. I met this guy on Cruise Moab the year before I got my Pig. Holy cow, am I getting old?

sorry, I have been Busy with work and getting truck to pass smog. I am still dealing with a leaky stock pump. I never did get a spare pump to get a sample bushing. I may do a saginaw as a temp pump so I can use my stock one for the bushings.

I have a "spare" pump. It has 310,000 miles on it and leaks. I replaced it with OEM. You pay the ride and you can have it. PM to work out details.

So there’s no one who can machine up a bushing? @PabloCruise that one you have was too long? There’s a tool and die guy here in my town. I could see if he’d want to try it but I have no original spare. Do you after all that back and forth above?

Correct bearing?

I searched just the part number and this came up. Would be pretty sweet if this was it. I’ve never torn one down but the measurements are in the link.

Cool find!
I don't remember the dims needed, it has been a while since I looked at this.
I wonder how bad shipping would be from the UK?
Thank you!

According to an industrial supplier , DU bearing sleeve are design for something sliding. Can’t support 3000 rpm.
There is one bushing with exact dimensions on an Taiho bushing catalog (web)…
Had some old pump so I removed the rear bushing. Those in the rear have the exact same dimensions except the oil reservoir groove orientation. Choose the best and installed it in the front of my pump.

If the bushing is not too bad, I guess someone can flip 180 degre the front cover hence the good portion of the bushing will receive the axial force of the pulley. Might be good for a while.

Do you have a listing for the Taiho piece?
