I did a DIY setup in my truck when I bought it. 1 big drawer, fridge on the left, 8" sub behind the fridge and a flip top over the storage area on the pass side. It's setup to sleep on top of as I've since added a front section about a year ago with gull-wing style lift up doors with a big storage area underneath. Keeps most all of my gear/tools secured while wheeling. Plenty of headroom to sleep on top comfortably.

Whole thing removes with 4 bolts and can be pulled out the back.

Nicee! Really like the low and wide profile of this look as well! What are these dimensions? Looks about 20cm high and a good 45-50 cm wide?
I was going to just split the trunk in half but that doesnt really make sense now that I see this. It would fit the fridge and then half a small useless space.

Here are some quick measurements. It’s full width/length of the cargo area on the bottom piece. The drawer is located just a hair away from the wheel well.

If I were to do it again, I’d probably add about another 1-1.5” of height. It wouldn’t affect the sleeping space much and would allow more storage in the drawer for taller items.

Okay Im super goad you said that about adding a bit to the height because I was thinking about going lower profile like yours but a friend was saying to push it up to around 30cm. So at least now I now the where the height should be at. Thanks! Love the simplicity of your setup. Thanks for the dimensions!

I'm starting to come around to the idea of drawers and the footprint of what you have in your truck is more or less what I'm going for. I want to keep it to one side, keep the fridge on the folded down seat back, and have the drawer only on one side. I'd also like fold-down wings that cover the entire floor area as well, but I'm not sure I can make that happen - like keep the footprint small while traveling, then drop all the cargo under the truck and sleep two when we get to camp.
