So I conferred with Steve and took a bunch of measurements last night, from the '72 & '76 panels he was sent and what I found there are two distinct clip layouts. We decided he should just put both sets in the panel so they will work for everyone, the difference did not seem to be a cutoff point (my '79 match the '72 for instance, and not the '76). Here are some pics of a template panel laid over the stock '76 panel:
The black marked holes are what he sent me for my PS that didn't work, the unmarked were what I needed (top & bottom edge). Here is my measure markup:
Hard to tell (PITA to make due to clip offsets from truck holes), but when I pulled back off the DS it lined up perfect to my "N" or needed holes. Anyway, I'm confident a set with all the holes present will work for everyone
. Just FYI, these were somewhat more difficult to orientate the clip offset direction than the doors w/o having a stock reference panel. Putting it in place and marking reference helped a lot, they will line up eventually -
Cheers!

BTW: Post up some pics of the different colors as you guys who ordered get them installed.
