Great thread. Thanks to all who contributed!

Bam! This made my day.

My covers have been low on my list of cosmetics since it looked like some expletive work.

the PO tried to glue them on.......

Thanks for this. I did mine this weekend.

Looks great. I'm going through the same process myself right now. My rubber feet on the seat were missing, I ordered new ones and now I have to find the right size bolt for them. Can anyone help?

Thread revival. I’m about to do mine. Got my covers from Cruiser Corps. I’m not sure how to do the wire part? Mine look sewn differently than the OP and not way to run a wire unless I punch a hole somehow. Any thoughts? Anyone else dealt with this? These are also sewn differently than the oem cover.

Thanks. I was going to do that, but wasn’t sure if I was just missing something obvious. Appreciate the pic.

if you're patient, i think you can actually fish the wire down through that "fold" and poke it through the stitched seam, vs the material and the seam.

Thought about that too. I’ll see how it goes!

Ok, poked holes and was able to feed the wire. However, these covers have some stitching of two pieces of fabric together in the center that I am unable to feed the wire through. 2nd pic below. Any ideas appreciated :)

Also, can someone give more info on what to do with the wire? Do you tighten the screws on the inside of the wire or over the top of it? I don’t understand “bend it around the last screw”.

Thanks.

Thanks, that helps a lot. Just going to reiterate my understanding. Get all the screws in, but don't screw them tight. Then start in the middle, clamping the middle screw over the wire. Work my way outwards, keeping the wire taught and tightening each screw clamped down on the wire. Lastly, bend the wire around the final corner screws, tighten those down, clip the wire.

Just need to get the wire fed through the covers. Much more difficult on my covers than appears in the pictures, since I have to poke holes and get through various stitched spots.

That sounds correct.

Thanks a bunch! Great info.

Curtice - I am starting to work on mine and have the same CC tan jump seat covers. I wish they made them like OEM so I did not have to poke holes. What was your solution for the center stich on the back of the covers? Thanks!
