Rent the 5 acres and put in one of those Elon Musk tiny houses, or do what Bubbles did - put up a small garden shed to live in.
Since this is the planning thread… I’ve got Baton 1 in Phoenix. Let’s plan to move it on. Where to? Who? When?

Whatever direction it goes, make sure there is a plan and a willingness to search for the next handoff. The batons have been stuck for about 2 years. The hand off doesn't have to be great distance, it can be across town. We need to get local clubs involved. If more than one person in a locality is interested, meet at a park (local, state, federal, etc). Go on a local trail and have lunch and a handoff. This needs to getting our 40 series rigs out and meeting others. That's my $ .02 worth anyway. If you have to drive longer (as I had too), that's part of the game. I willing to be a part of this again at any time, just let me know and we can coordinate a meet.
Do we know where Baton 2 is? And is there a confirmed 3rd?
Agreed on getting meetups involved... I'm going to post in the Copper State Cruisers forum and see if anyone else wants to trek with me to handoff. I'm working to get my 40 up and running but at the same time I may just have to make the handoff in my 70-series. I want to keep it moving and get a solid meetup to do so.

Yeah, I can meet half way somewhere. I bet there are other from the region that would make the trek out. I'll post up in the Beach and Toys San Diego section
Someone come wake me up when it comes East again I can get a chunk of the mid Atlantic corridor. My truck was mid engine swap last time

I'd love to see one of them come thru Washington again. The last time was a blast. Last time I heard the briefcase was in Utah I think and the toolbox ×as in Eastern Canada after visiting the PNW.
