So... we're starting this thing tomorrow. The plan is to drive North from Boston, through Portsmouth NH into Portland Maine... then West into North Conway NH (and Mount Washington!) through Franconia Notch and Lincoln NH, with the last stop being Lake Winnipesaukee. ~400 miles!

I'll hand the baton to @woytovich (and others) on Saturday AM at the Yankee Toys Fall Gathering...

I'll get the new thread started on Friday... this is on...

If this thing comes up 287 from the Dallas Fort Worth area I'd love to help out or just visit as it passes by. I'm near Wichita Falls right on 287.

I am in. My 68 is slow, so dont want to travel very far, but I could relay from Potato Launcher to cbmontgo and/or 1911. I am currently in Chillicothe, TX which is halfway between Amarillo and DFW area

I could make my run to Vernon, Electra, or Wichita Falls; anywhere that suits your comfortable distance.

The good thing about 287 is that so much of it is four lanes divided highway now, so we wouldn't be holding up traffic or unsafe plodding along in the right lane.

I'd be happy to be the go between on this leg. I'm in Iowa Park so right on 287 and even if I'm at the fire station, it to is on 287 on the west side of Wichita Falls.

@bkdraft I think my wife and I stopped you on the road between Vernon and Altus last year to check out the 40.

The batons aren't scheduled to arrive in Nashville until November 27th, but don't know from there. West Texas to New Mexico early in 2017?
