Hold on boys and girls this is about to get bumpy!

And all this time I thought the aftermarket support was there for minitrucks just because there are so many more of them and because they actually have more parts that need upgrading than an 80.
good point((obviously) but do you want more after market upgrades available or do you wanna bitch about the very limited attention we (our trucks) get?

I don't like contributing more to the back and forth, but come on booger! Your lack of logic is going against the common sense we have all come to believe you have (at least in fabbing up some sick stuff). We have stacked cash in front fab companies and machinists and it just isn't enough to get them to produce what we want (black box). I don't know the hf knuckle guy, but I bet if he had 100 orders a week he would be plastered all over this place!! Also, I haven't read a single post that says "geez we hate the fact joses badass rig is getting press." The issue is theft. A periodical article/write up on a build is not the same as an advertising campaign. And why the heck would anyone defend tg!? As originally stated, they steal designs and ideas from the vendors on here that we DO support and fab it from trashy Chinese metal by a 7 yr old with a 110 mig and then sell it here and it promptly fails (spent hours on the dusy last week dealing with their garbage axle on a buddies rig). Heck, they probably have all Of joses pics downloaded and are reverse engineering Brian's BA kit!
eager to wheel and/or fab with you sometime

sorry to bring up an OLD part of the thread. I am going to trim out my core support / inner fender much like you did on page 57 of this epic thread. Wondering if you welded in a plate from the cut core support to the inner fender or how you finished this off?

Thanks,

Cardona x2 on this , if possible could you post a pic on how you finished the trimming on the rad support

Thanks

Pretty sure he just left it open like I did.

Really no need to box this in other then vanity

Oooh, local bender! What did it run you with dies? Where from? @jcardona1

It was about $600 with the die. Dies cost damn near as much as the bender.

Thanks that really helped , chopping it off this weekend

Mine is the same as Ammo's. Just cut off the metal then painted over it. Didn't see the need to seal anything back up in this area.

And for those tuning in from the latest TG debacle, all is well in the world again. I'm not out to go vendor bashing or sue-crazy because I actually like TG. Hell, I just bought a set of their beadlocks a few weeks ago. They make lots of good parts at good prices and for what it's worth I've had more issues with RuffStuff steering parts than I have had with TG parts. I don't mind my pictures being shared all over the web, that's what they're for. But using them in ad for monetary gain without permission isn't cool no matter how small or silly the photo/product is. So I sent Joseph an email. He apologized, said they found the picture on some random blog site and didn't know who the owner was. Said they'd be interested in using my photos for future ads as well now that they know who I am. And in exchange for using my pic they gave me a hydro assist kit which I really needed. So hey, $300 in free merchandise works for me :)

What else...Stealth Custom Series finally decided to make their F5 in a 17" so I sold the old wheels and bought them in gunmetal for the daily driver

And after a 2yr wait, my CA legacy plates finally showed up! Now there's really no confusing this truck.

Looking forwards to seeing what you do with the rear. Also, should I be sending Trail Gear pictures of my 62? Because I want hydro steer too.

Trail Gear what a stand up company!

I finally got mine after years of wanting, and they release the black n golds right afterwards :bang: maybe I'll swap em out! Nonetheless, hard to get me mixed up!

Jose, I just ran Fordyce today from eagle lakes to meadow lake (posting this from hotel WiFi). You would be fine. Nothing real unfriendly to a full size rig.

I did lose a tail light though.

^ oh boy, that sounds like fun! let me know next time y'all come through dixon!
