This build is BOSS!!

Quick question:
How's the Monsta/Rhino Lining after wheeling?
Is it a pain to clean up? Specially if you leave it for a day or longer?
I'm strongly considering Rhino Lining the whole vehicle also!

I haven't had the chance to look at this thread in a long time. Damn Jose your rig looks incredible! I've got to get those bumpers that you have they look sweet! When I get back tomrrow I need to read your whole novel on here.

Thanks Jose, I'll check them out. Seems to turn left OK with the setup I have from Slee, but eyeballing it looks like the shock, at rest, is too far extended

Finally got a chance to go wheeling! Went with @AMMO for a quick run to Signal Peak. Always a fun trail. Short, close to home and provides a little challenge. Perfect for a Sunday.

Here's a video of the suspension in action. The whole thing performed amazingly well off road. Flexes like a mofo! You can see the suspension fully extended at 0:50

That is some amazing photography, Jose. The truck is almost as good offroad as it is posing:flipoff2: Now what would happen if you were to disconnect those limiting straps? Would it flex too much and possibly break something or would you start to rub?

I seriously hate you.

My rig flipped on it roof just thinking about parking a tire up on this...

CB chatter: Jose put your pass side tire up on this tree stump, I say as I drive by it... Mind you that tree stump is about 5' off the ground (road bed), eye level... I said this half joking to look in my rear view and see him parked on top...

I'm a hater.

Nicely done! I've been waiting to see how your new suspension worked after getting it put together. Looks amazing.

I see next years shirt design...

5'? I think your wife has been lying to you about how big things are :flipoff2:. I thought you'd gotten rid of the pitbulls?

Awesome build Jose!

Daryl- that pic is deceiving... After looking at the pics again I think your right... All these years... I thought I was "big" :-(

So looking at his tire on the road the cross diagonal of the tread to ground would leave me to ascertain the height of the stump off the road bed is..... 37" to 42" tall....

I wanted Jose to jump in the pic for reff... But he declined. None the less this was way more impressive in person then shown and he had more to go on the up / down and stuff factor... As none of his tires were stuffed on any corner.

Yup I'm back on PitBulls... Giving them another shot (got a great deal from the factory), so far I'm loving them. 40 PSI and 2 golf balls in each for road manor seems tolerable for now.

Thanks! The straps are there keep the shocks from over extending. So length of the straps is right at the point where the shocks have reached maximum down travel. Without the straps I'm sure you'd damage the shocks in no time.

Sweet! looks a lot different without snow on the ground. You guys have two of the sickest 80s on here. love the pics

Ammo showed me the infamous tree, that was some really off-camber stuff. With snow I can imagine how sketchy it was. We'll need to plan another trip!

Heh, good times. I should have drove the rear tire up on the stump too. Didn't even think about it.

Not sure of the exact height but it tire was quite a ways off the ground. Here's another pic I forgot to post. That front shock still had another 2~3" of uptravel left in it.

Atta boy! Though that looks mild for you. Come run Fordyce and let's add some trail beautification to your rig.

That welded swing-down still amuses me.
