Lokka makes auto lockers for the front and rear diffs but they require an open dif. Tired of dealing with elockers, especially the rear one!

What don't you like about them? Have you thought about converting them to cable lockers?

I had mine rebuilt a few years back by Landtank I think... Didn't want to mess with the clock springs.

Got it back better then new, painted and greased works like clock work with regular exercise.

I would have liked to, but it's an expense 'while I'm in there' thing. I'm holding out for the doubler because it seems like you get a lot more reduction for the money. $900 for 25% reduction seems pricey!

Some of the *best* money I've spent on my truck. Hands down. Don't underestimate it ... take a ride w/someone who has the Marlin gears, 5.29's and some 37's and you'll see ;)

Oh I believe you! If the Black Box never materializes then no doubt I'll be opening the transfer case back up again.

I'm just betting it will be a while...

How beefy are the output shafts and other components in the case anyway? People say they seem stout but compared to what? Any concerns around putting a doubler in front?

Also please ditch that flimsy t case weed guard and make a skid plate. Coilovers will take you places you'll need it

Auto lockers are going to be more annoying

They might but I'm so tired of fighting with the rear locker, ARB is out of my budget right now as well as a $500+ e-locker

Rebuild it, or have it rebuilt...

Hoping to do an inaugural wheeling trip this weekend, but in the meantime urban crawling is a highly underrated sport. Don't need to pack food or tools or spare parts. Don't need to drive for hours. And don't need to fill up the tank :flipoff2:

I think you're kinda scared to take it out now that it's all purdy! :princess:

Jose, the irony we both did the part time kit this week, both in sacto as well. After I did this, and the slee lift my front locker is staying locked. No harm when in 2wd, but I wanna figure it out. Any ideas?

For educational purposes I should come replicate your pics to show your flex vs mine in the same situation and location.

It was a lot of work to do all that painting!

Nice! No idea on the locker though. Is it the factory e-locker? Don't see how the part time kit would have any effect on that.
