A way to attach a RAM Mount would make this a no brained for me. It could even be 2 holes, shipped with rubber plugs.

I would have to agree. Finished product should be designed around stock fit, finish and look. If you want to mod it and cut holes etc let the purchasers do that. I'd guess more buyers would want it stock vs modded for cutoutView attachment 2012592
If they have the means to mod their hazard switch (for whatever reason) then they can use the same file to cut a hole in this new clamshell that they used in their old one.
I'm disappointed, because that missing material would bug the s*** out of me, whether I had the mod or not. Was looking forward to purchasing this.
