Waiting on feedback from JO MAOMA

If he comes back with good news I'm gonna take a drive and use his guy. He will be doing a write up for so I don't want to preempt him.

But yes to your question :D

I guess there are worse places to be stuck on a long layover.

Cool. Wanted to check it out when I was in bahrain but ran out of time. Must be nice!

The Persian women in this airport are effing ridiculously hot. Not all are burka wearers.

Awesome airport food actually. I'm impressed.

The UAE would be an awesome place to visit.

The wife, kid and myself stayed in Dubai during our trip to South Africa for the World Cup in 2010. Stayed at the Atlantis hotel at the top of the Jerumieh Palm. Best food and best fun we had despite the oppressive heat and humidity.

Curious, what kind of cool landcruiser parts can someone bring back from UAE if they had a small JOBOX available with some space left in it? I"m sending a largeRIDGID job site box over to UAE (Masdar to be exact) for work and there should be some empty space in it. Does UAE have anything unique that we don't have and must have?

Oil selection question!??!?!

So I ran Castrol Syntec in varying weights throughout its previous life since almost day one.

I just poured through this FAQ post:
https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/79305-oil-recommendations-discussion-thread-faq.html

It was started in 06' and I'm sure a lot has changed since. Is this still the optimal way to go: Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5w-40

I want to make my decision and buy a metric ton of it and do my normal 5k intervals.

I will be doing an oil change at 500 miles with a Blackstone report and then continue those every 5000 miles thereafter regardless if it needs it or not.

What say the experts?
