Stopped off at K&H today to snap some pics of the motor fully assembled before it gets installed tomorrow morning. Couldn't be happier right now.

Let's peel the part number label off of the fan blade. You don't want an imbalance....:hillbilly:

OMG! I felt something move...

Wow. Even complete with the Beno sticker. Very nice.

Beautiful engine. I've saved pics from this thread for reference and study for various repairs.

Enjoy that engine!

Here you can see the EGT ports in the front and rear manifolds. Right now they will be plugged until the SC is ready to go on.

Thank you BENO

Next up, orange dot mod.

It's damn pretty for sure. I'd run it.

DO wax the fender aprons and firewall before you drop it in. :grinpimp:

They are getting steam cleaned for sure. Not sure how I can squeeze in waxing them. Lemme see what I can do :P

Need to order new valve cover inserts. These look dated. Intake manifold is on and the throttle body is next.

Paint them wrinkle black and mask off the emblem.

Although now that I am taking a closer look at the emblem, the chrome is bubbled up in several places.

Quick question, can the fan spacer, crank pulley and idler/tensioner be installed without any issue if the SC isn't going on just yet?

Yes. Not a problem. In fact I'd rather put the crank pulley on with the engine on the stand.

The only potential conflict will be the water bypass pipe that goes around the front of the head. This comes into play when the tensioner bracket is installed.
