Mark, at least it's not a Jeep! 1965 Scout80 that is getting FJ60 axles, a 4.3/H42/splitcase. It is getting CJ leaf springs though! Should be a unique little ride, I've always had a eye for the half cabs, and I paid as much for this Scout as one would pay for a bag of bolt off of an FJ45. There is a reason Landcruisers of the same era are more sought after than Scouts, they are twice the rig a Scout is on every level. So much more robust.

Sorry for the de-rail @Birdhead

Is that a hard plastic material or metal?

If it’s a plastic material, I can fix it
It is plastic. Thanks for the feeback. I have this thread bookmarked for when it comes time to make her look more pretty.

My don just got hired by Colorado Springs fire department. I’ll be helping him move from Texas for the next few weeks.

He’s taking a 16, 000/ yr pay cut, but he’ll make it up. He enjoyed staying at my station when he was young too much.

If you need your wheel refurbished, I just finished one and I’m open. I’m moving my son to Colorado and will be back at the end of the month, my wife will be here to get packages.

Hello Jimmy @Birdhead . Just sent you a text to see about a wheel restoration. Your work looks great! Regards...Brian
I’m just getting going again, w/ all my injuries I feel like an FJ being restored. I probably have a little more metal in me than my FJ lol. My baby girl is at college now, so I turned part of her room into a work area, so I can do most of the steering wheel work at that spot and paint out in the shop. I have three wheels going on now, if you need a wheel restored, TEXT ME @ 918-693-9208
