Overkill? Probably.
But solid as a rock, and super versatile for any number of individual items like fridge, boxes, microwave (yes, I'm running one after a win with a high power inverter), or temporary things like wheelchairs ( I know all about how rattle and slide-prone wheelchairs are!).

You can get all sorts of rings, and other mounts, including box mounts that could go in a tool box, or etc. (no ring, rather an internal box securing attachment).

These are customs from Mac's Tie Downs.
Great people to deal with, and they will make them any length you want.

The reason I have so many (see photo) is because I have sliding floors over both sides, rather than the more typical one-side. Their cut lengths left extra pieces, so I have those extra lengths on the side. The side portion of the floor is NOT nearly as strong, so I would not want to pull that too tight...but it could easily secure something I don't want flying around in an accident, such as a fire extinguisher, or etc.

With all the holes, end pieces and attachment rings I ordered, it added up quickly ($375!). But if you just want a on-sided fridge tie-down on a roller floor, it would be only about $150. This stuff if STOUT. -Made mainly for tying cars, trucks, dune-buggies to trailers. But why not go stout? :)

By the way... Thanks, Christo Slee at @sleeoffroad , for suggesting Mac's.

Here,a a link: Mac's VersaTie track, aluminum track, and e-track

Place rings wherever you want...

Will probably split these at the hatch point. Might skip side points altogether, but they sent these extra lengths rather than recycle them...so we'll see.

I dealt with Phil on the phone, and he was super patient and helpful throughout.

I haven't attached them yet, but will be using nutserts underneath, and countersink screws from above. Mac's will drill holes wherever you specify.

My new Roof Rack will incorporate those.
I bought 3 pieces at 8' with clips for $75 on C-List.
I used them daily when I loaded air freight during college

There are lots of options for threaded studs, quick disconnects, seatbelt fittings, etc that fit into Brownline track. In my DeHavaland Beaver I have a folding jump seat, and a cargo net that attach via Brownline. You guys may want to check some home aircraft builder supply places for some unique fittings. I think I bought some replacement seat fittings from these guys a while back.

Those aren't tie downs on steroids. Maybe on a vitamin or two. :) Here's some tie downs on steroids! These are a set I have from an Airforce C-130

Used em all the time on my Tacoma, but have them sitting and waiting for the right use on my cruiser.

Ya... I say steroids mainly because these rails are typically used to tie full size vehicle down in transport where each tie point can hold 5- 12k pounds x however many you use. Since I'll only be holding a fridge or toolbox, etc....this is a bit overkill. -But I'm good with overkill. :hillbilly:

@Box Rocket I like that you recessed the track down on your rack. Nice Job. I had a Tacoma like yours too, it burned in a fire a while back. I miss that truck.

@Markuson what are you going to mount the track with? Machine bolts with fender washers as a backer?

The tracks and tie downs are from US Cargo control. They come in black. The end caps are my design.

Those endcaps are really slick! Nice job

Did you order the tracks to a custom length? Or trim them down?
