Cut the rear wheel wells!
Got hooked up with some 33x12.50x15's... (thanks Eric, thanks Ben!)
So last week was a frenzy of welding rear shock mounts, moving exhaust pipe, mounting tires, peeling off diamond plate, and cutting the quarters!
I really like the way it feels so far. No trails yet, but the
and I took the 40 up to Estes Park for the 4th of July and she rode well - very comfy. I like the combo of the Downeys and the Doetsch-Tech 8000's. 33 inch tire and 4.11's are perfect too! Nothing like a little rubber overdrive!

I really like the way you cut the fenders, looks good. Did you roll the edges under (OEM style) or leave them sharp?
Also if you're wondering about the Downey springs I've been running a set of 3" springs on mt 4Runner now for about 5 years and they have been great springs, only a little sag, they flex good, and ride and control is great.
